Bobby does that with my glasses too!!! It is the most amazing feeling, soft budgie feathers and their warm little body snuggled against your eye! :hap: Cheeky does he give your eyelashes a preen while he is in there?? I have tiny little chips all over my glasses now from Bobbys beak and claws!

Is that fostered baby one from Butter :hap: It is just gorgeous - so unique!!! When you discover what mutatuon it is I will add that to my seek list!!!

You are doing fantastic!! Congrats! You will have a beautifully tamed budgie before you know it It does take them a while to get used to their new surroundings and all the behaviour you noted seems normal for a baby. He sounds like he is starting to come around a bit now so you should start seeing a change in his personality soon!! He is just gorgeous!! Make sure you get heaps of pics at this age cause they grow up so fast!! :hap: The purplish cere that you noted makes me think he is a boy - perhaps if you can get another picture in some more natural light, we should be able to tell for sure

Most of us have a photobucket account http://www.photobucket.com/ It is free and you just upload your pics from your computer to this site, then paste the URL to the picture in your post and there they are! There are also image size restrictions of 450 x 450 pixels so it is a good idea to download a photo resizing program such as mircosoft photo editor or photo gadget pro - I use photo gadget pro and it is great - but I paid for mine - it didn't cost too much but I think mircosoft is free (sorry don't really know anything about that one ) Anyway I hope you enjoy yourself here, looks like you have plenty of knowledge you will be able to share around. I would love to see a picture of your avairy if you get a chance - that would be great!! :ausb:

Well some of his flights have grown back again, and unfortunately he is back to his old self again :ausb: I guess some birds just aren't meant to be tamed! He will step up and take a ride on my shoulder, stay there and sit in my hair, but that's about it! I still love him though!! He just has his own personality and that is fine I think that if he is hurting himself by flying like that, then perhaps clipping his wings would be kinder for him. It took Sunny a couple of days to adjust, and heaps of guilt enducing looks from him, but he was quite happy to scuttle around and climb still.
