O Terri I wanted to take her home and snuggle her, my heart broke - my hubby would KILL me though - I am already in trouble for buying another 2 that were being re-homed - and I have arranged an avairy for them to stay in after quaranteen :budgiedance:

I took my Bobby camping at easter time and he had a blast as well - it is good that they can enjoy the great outdoors from the safety of their cage :budgiedance: As for the gymnastics thing, budgies are quite flexible and that is how they play - I guess it is comfy for them hehe I tried to rescue Bobby from the same position the other day thinking he was stuck and was attacked for my efforts!

Oh Kelly I am so sorry - you must be heart broken, please don't give up hope though - you just never know :budgiedance:

I was driving past a pet shop today and they had a cage out the front that caught my eye, so I stopped to take a look and thought - lets see if they have any budgies :hap: I knew I was setting myself up for heartbreak but I couldn't resist. They have great conditions and they are clean and the budgies all looked healthy, they had all come from the same breeder and were all green pied babies in the top cage, and more pieds and VIOLETS in the bottom cage! There was one baby in particular that looked like it was too young to be away from the nest, really tiny and still a little black on her beak. She was a grey green spangle and she was sitting in a dish (that had no food in it) and was shivering so violently that the dish was rattling and banging against the cage. I said to the shop keeper this and she said that its just because she is a baby. I started talking to this gorgeous little grey green spangle baby girl and she was closing her little eyes and tilting her head a little - I wanted her sooo badly :budgiedance: Do you think she was shivering because she was scared and cold? Her feathers were smooth and she wasn't puffy at all, just seemed like she could have had another week with mummy

Great knitting job Cindy!! Bobby has even started dyeing his face feathers to fit the profile hehe (don't tell him its a bit orange, it might offend him :budgiedance: )

Sunny and Bobby have sorted out their differences and after seeing them kiss last night, I put them back in together to see how they would go All good, 2 happy budgies sharing a cage again

After 3 weeks holidaying with other birds, while Bobby's leg recovered, Sunny has come home - Boy have I missed him!! After sweet cuddles out came the camera hehe - Beware there are heaps to catch up on Which is my good side? This side Or this side he went straight to his favourite spot Awwwww Oh how I have missed that sweet little face Ahhh do I spot something new here?? Hello....is this thing safe? What a perfect little angel at the top of the tree Ooh what an adventure Is that.....TREE stuck to my beak Yep I like this place Soooo whats next then!! Home coming hasn't been all that smooth unfortunately, Bobby attacked Sunny twice, once quite severely and they have had to be seperated - the are now in a 'reconciliation cage' to try and work out their differences Bobby is staying as far away as possible...

I LOOOOVE Subway - there is one next door to my work and I have it at least 3 times a week Had it for dinner last night too hehe

hehe that is so funny!!! I reckon you should clip it to the edge of the cage, so when he flicks it off the side he will be able to pick it up himself!!! :offtopic:

I have a sneaking suspicion that he is stained from the carrot rubbing his face as he searches for the seed..... I didn't put any seed in the dish tonight, and surprising, Bobby sat as far away from the dish as he possibly could

Tbe stock and breeding cages look awesome!! It is going to be a fantastic avairy once you are done! I can't wait to see pics of the new avairy! Will the newer, bigger avairy be cooler for the birds as well in that hot QLD heat??

Oh don't you worry about that!! I am missing him so much I won't be able to leave the poor baby alone hehe

He's never eaten carrot before, amazing what some added seed will do! Stayed tuned - I just bought some beetroot!!!
