If i were you, id attach the nest box to the wall somehow, whether that means cutting a hole for the entrace, or hanging it up inside the top of the cage...since i know many females like to have high nests....Although, the floor idea will work!!!....Keep us posted with new info bek!!! Nerwen! Thast no cage you want on e-bay!!! Thats a huge AVIARY!!!! Its amazing man! There will be no more fighting in that thing! The cage you got before..the grey one, with two doors....is perfect for my guys! They make the dolphin noise at nighttime, when they are all climbing on side of cage, and one wants anothers sleeping spot, or when ones hungry, and wants the other to move! (Laughing out loud) So, are you saying that your breeding Freckle and Pie together again? Or....and why dont you try Marine with Jangles once hes done with Tootie? So then youd gave Freckle and Pie breeding, and Marine and JangleBangles...? Then that gives Tottie a break, and she can becomse freinds with Ringo!.. Then when you get more birds, you can get Ringo a boyfreind, and another male to breed Tootie or any other hen for that matter with!...(Laughing out loud) Kirby

yay thanks lovey! I do think i will have more success this time! Chico was too afriad of mounting Ariel before, even though she went into the 'U' shape probably 7-8 times a day that i saw! And i was at school for 6 hours!...so who knows how many times shes done it for him! They are sitting there right now preening, singing, and flying around the nice new cage! I know its usualy a big NO NO!!! But ive added the nest box for Chico and Ariel and the 3 other birds in the new HUGE cage! They seem to be more comfortable for some reason! Ans Ariels more interested in Chico now more than ever! The other guys leave them alone, and the nest box, so i think this setup will be fine. Is any fight occurs, i will move them out..or divide the cage agaib with the grate tray that is used at the bottom of the cage that i simply wedge tightly in between the middle section of the cage, and tide it down with lots of twisties, and metal wire to make t 100% safe for everyone! UPDATE: Tangos is a FEMALE for sure now! White rings, blusih colouring to cere, and is acting like a female more and more...and is VERY shy and quiet! She loves chweing perches, and only shouts, but doesnt singlike any of my other males...She is also 'chubby', and not really active..same with all my other females!!!!... So, i will get an older male to try and breed with her in the future, as well as my 2 year old white recessize cinnamon violet pied, and my when my 4 month old skyblue normal hen is ready to breed!.... Also, i have out the nest box in for Chico and Ariel in the cage. Instead of rushing and laying infertile eggs, this time, they seem more comitted or 'married'. Last time they laid eggs, the just started prenning once they were laid, and they just started feeding eachother at the same time aswell. This time, they peen a lot more, are always together, always flirting, and feed eachother a lot more frequently! She is alos in the nest box alot... Kirby

Yes it does!!!...thanks a lot lovey! So....hmmm...now i need to find a adult split to blue male! I dont know if he has any! All i know is blue is my favourite! Blue spangle that is, but im not getting any from this bunch. So, i think i will try Ariel (white recessive pied bred to the male she likes now named Chico a yellow faced blue type II oplaine recessive pied...and try to see if they weill have fertile eggs this time. If not, then i will buy another male! Hopefully they do have fertile babies becuase last time i put the nest box in, they werent really bonded, and she just laid the eggs...this time, when i put it in, they have started to preen eachother, and are acting more 'married' then before. They NEVER use to preen, or hardly ever feed eachother, even once the infertile eggs were laid...so this is a good sign that they are preening, AND feeding, AND shes in the nesting box a lot now!!!...So, wish me luck!!!...as i know Chico will be the BEST and proudest dad ever, and Ariel will be the most annoying, yet wonderful mother ever!..lo Kirby

Would an olive green not mean that hes split to blue?..same with a green that has a lot of blue in the plumage?....The breeder has several lime green opalines, olive greens, normals greens, and a stunning dominant pied blue cinnamon male that i was going to get, but he wants to keep it now... ..(Laughing out loud) Kirby
