He jumped on sideways, backwards, and the one time he jumped on the right way, he fell off! Whats the subsrate going to be?...grass?....if i were you, id do pea gravel....with a layer of brick on the inside around the base for added protection against escape and/or mice.....Also, can you add a big bird bath?!?!?...for me? Hey! I just got a new violet spangled male! i didnt know if he was violet or not...but compared to my other blues...hes VERY purple...then compared to my violet pied hen, hes a match!!!..YAY! hes like 6 weeks old, a male, tame, VERY cute...has a great personality! He LOVES Tango (his dilute green spangle girlfreind) who are together in same cage becuase they cam from the same breeder...and Tango should have still been in quranteen anyways..until she escaped with main flock. So, yes, this baby is a violet! I will post pics in like 5 minutes for you all to see him! I feel bad, even though i shouldnt that he was plucked as a baby. So he has some bald spots on him (neck, and bit on back/wings) So, he looks unweaned..but hes not! He feeds himself, and is very outgoing, curious, and courageous! He loves Tango already, and when she tries to preen him, he flies away since Tango is just as curious as him, and he cant handle it :hap: They will breed in the future for SURE....if they act how they are acting now for a year until next breeding season! So, i was wondering what colours he would create of bred to a skyblue normal hen, dilute green spangle hen, and/or a white recessive pied cinnamon violet hen....in future years??? Ariel is letting Chico mount her, but he never does!!!.....He steps on her...but doesnt actually mount! so im frustrated! ohhh..so if they are DF spangle...the eys are black...and the whole body if yellow or white? But how do you know if hes a DEC or not???...since i myself have heard they can have black eyes..with all white bodies??? Kirby :hap:

Hey guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im VERY excited! I just got back from the breeders around the corner from me....and i now have a possibly violet, but im pretty sure a cobalt spangle! Hes 6 weeks old....and weaned 100%...but i feel kinda bad cuz he is kinda bald in some areas...like on top of his head...and a bit on his back! He got plucked when a baby...so those feathers are taking a bit longer to grow in...but he looks soooo small, and unweaned that i feel kinda bad! Even though he is weaned, and is having a great time at my house with his future wife Tango! They came form the same breeder....so i put them together.... I got Tango only 9 days ago, so im sure hey will be fine! So, ill post pics soon, and i still havenot posted pics of my new flight cage either! Im falling behind! So...i will take pics of the new huge cage, new ones of Tango, pics of my new spangle whos name is Toby...but i also like Skylar since his back and base of tail has loooots of different colours of blue..like the sky! So, ill take pics, and ill show you his cuteness! Also, my other birds....are breeding again! Or should i say almost. Wow...i dont have any of those store in Ontario other than a Ruffins in Georgetown...which is closer to toronto! ...(Laughing out loud) They did have a lot of older budgies...and lots of rodents!... Didnt really look tidy though...but nice stock! Whats Pets Unlimited?...is that like a Super Pet...or a Petco?... Kirby

Lovey....i have the white cage you are bidding on above...but mine has 2 doors...which is wayyyy better than having one like other think is better! This way, i divide mine in half (i pull the metal grate up..and sandwich it againsit the sides...just under the top front door.) Its secure...and then i still have two good sized access doors. I got mine from a guy in Orlando Florida off of ebay...but i live in Canada..and it still only costed $174 in TOTAL to ship to Canada from Florida. It did come in a different colour than what i wanted, so i complained...but blue was my second choice, so i dont care that much....everyone loves it! You can fit 6 comfprtably in it...as i have 5 now...and they are super duper fine! All VERY HAPPY...and fly a lot in the cage! I set it up open in the middle...and put perches high, low, and medium, plus toys, and lots of food dishes, and they still use the bottom! They like to sit there if they want to get away from other guys....and i have only had one fight occur becuase my fiesty male decided hed try to mate with an already paired up hen...so they went at eachother.... But in all, the grey cage would be the one i bought again...as it has two doors...whish are still like 12" x 9" ....so id say get that one! Kirby
