When you say retail...is it a pet shop...or like a warehouse full of budgies? Ive heard several people say that 'retail'.... Yea, NO spangles in Canada! I got mine from a breeder who has only a green spangle male whos being bred to a olive green normal hen (those are Tangos parents ) then he has another blue spangle hen whos breeding to a normal skyblue male...who im going to get Tango a boyfreind from...a male blue from that spangle clutch I figure, i may as well get them while i can, since this is only time/place ive seen spangles in Canada!.... Shawna!!!...60% of your birds are too young!...(Laughing out loud) Beka, Daffy, Star, and Puddin are barely old enough!!!.... If you HADDD to breed...i dont even think Sylvester is old enough? How old is her now...like 7 months? Since hes the oldest male, you would either need to get a new old male..or 2 to even think of breeding, or wait till they are all old enough, and try as many pairings as possible! ya...good suggestions Terri! Shawna has 6 females....4 older one, and two younger ones...then two younger males....I think its hormones..and since they are new togethera s a flock, they have not decided whos the leader, nor have they gotten 100% comfoptable with eachother yet! I might also suggest making it less crowded posiibly! So like a couple good, big perches..or a nice fanned out branch so more than 3 can sit on it alone..then take out like half the toys..so if they do fight, they dont hit as many things, and can get out of the way for the other quicker! Thats what i did for my guys!...and it solved all problems! Thats my 0.02 :fear Kirby :hap:
