Thats the best picture i have off Chicos mom.... hahahah...thanks guys! YAYAYAYAYAY Nerwen! Hes gotten A LOT better now! Hes mounted again about 5 times this morning from when i woke up (8:30am till now 10:38am....and i was gone from about 9:30 walking my dog....so im saying 10:38 becuase who knows how many times he tried when i wasnt there). So, its VERY sunny, and mild in my room right now...so they are all happy! YAY! Ariels cere is getting darker brown...and Chicos os BRIGHT pink! Their rutine is for Ariel to play in nest box, come out, get courted by Chico, Let him mount her couple times a minute...then they both shake as if they are relieved. She runs b ack in the nest box, Chico sticks his head in, and she comes otu again...to repeat steps 1 through 3 ...hahaha....SO hopefully!...they are like Marine and Tootie!!!... YAY! :P Kirby

So...did you see him do it successfully before she laid her 1st egg...or you only saw him fall off everytime?..then the egg(s) came? Im thinking when she lays the eggs, if i have not seen them mate 100% successfuly, then it might be like your case....unless you did see Marine mount properly before she laid eggs!.....please say you didnt!....(Laughing out loud) They were at it again tonight...and who knows how many times during the hot, warm, day!
