Okay thanks guys!!! Yes Una...im soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy/ excited/ hopeful/ nervous right now!....(Laughing out loud) okay Daz, thanks sooo much! So i will not candle them for a couple days then right? So far, i have touched them 3 times i think within 5 days...which is TERRIBLE I KNOW! Last time, i touched them like 3 times a day! So, i will force myself to stop touching them now, as i could seriously injure/kill them.... By the way, what does Adle mean? Thanks again guys sooo much! And another egg should be here today! yay! I will be sure to update this post when/if she lays another one! But im getting a feeling theres going to be an odd number...so she might stop now at 3, or go to 5, i doubt 4, or 6 this time around. If these babies do survive, once they fledge, would it be okay to breed Ariel to Chico again in early August...which would be about 6 weeks from when this clutch fledged?..... or..... Kirby

I just candeled them all (all 3) using the link Daz supplied.... and the eggs look like the 1st and 3rd diagram(s). All 3 of the eggs have a small air bubble in the wider side, that are all the same size, and are even. The bubble isnt off center on any of the 3 eggs! Unlike last clutch Ariel had, i remember the air bubble(s) were HUGE and uneven! So thats a good sign! Egg number 1 is 5 days old today, egg 2 is 3 days old, and egg 3 is 2 days old..... so so far its looking good right? Egg number 4 should be here tomorrow..and i should notice veins by the 7th day then right?... My flashlight is losing batteries, so its not the best, so im going to go get better batteries, and even maybe a better smaller flashlight! Kirby :)

Thanks again Shawna..... Shes very good to the eggs! Shes on them a lot...only comes out to flirt with Chico, or to poop. Or to eat cuttlebone. Her last clutch was of 5 eggs, and none of them hatched. I NEVER saw them even attempt to mate that time, so i was doubtful either way. This time however, i saw them 'mate' (as in he would mount her, backwards, sometimes correctly but then would fall off, and none of them looked successful) about 5-10 times per day..and i was at school the rest of the day, so who knows how many times they 'mated' while i was gone. Both are being EXCELLENT parents...so far, and whats really keeping me going is Nerwens pair Marine and Tootie, who were exactly like my guys, and Nerwen never saw them mate successfuly, yet she still had several good, beautiful, healthy babies....so im hoping! Let me guess...you got that at Petsmart?....(Laughing out loud) That kind is perfectly fine! Buzzbee has that kind, and her birds breed great! What i would do is i would add rodent shavings like pine, or aspen in the bottom of it. If you dont want to *** the wooden kind, theres abrand called 'Carefresh' Is pretty much tiolet paper shredded up, squished together in clumps, and is meant for rodents aswell. Carefresh comes in normal grey colour, or Carefesh Ultra is white...and looks better to me So in all, yes, that kind is fine, and id use some type of rodent bedding for the base, to try and help out with the slipperyness!....(Laughing out loud). You could maybe even try sanding down the bottm A TINY bit...just enough so its not as slippery as ice....that might help aswell... Kirby

If i feel this weird sense about something, or if i get an unusual feeling, i get physic feelings, and can predict if something is good or bad. How splended Una!!!..... I am soooo jelious of the set up!..grrrrr!...(Laughing out loud) What about making a 'tree swing'? Get loooong branches, like 5-7feet long, and tie them all together like 1-2 feet apart...So its a huuge, long, nice, natural, swing perch(es) for them!..... I bet they would love to swing on it, play on it, play with the rope you would need to hang it, and you could hang millet, or other cool 'chewables' onto it! Kirby
