Do you know what i just thought of..thats weird to me!!! How you got a normal baby from Freckle and Pie? (marine) Is it just me, or would have have not gotten spangles, and/or dominant pieds!!! Ringo is acounted for becuase of Pie, but where did the normal yellow face gene come up to make Marine a normal, neither spangle, nor dominant pied ?! !? !? !? ps-in 5-10 years when i move to Brisbane Nerwen..if all goes well, would you have babies to sell to me...some like Reep and Echo? Lean Why is there no perches in the white faced tiel cage....eggs on the floor of the one pair of keets, and like an inch or two of uneaten food/poop on the floor of all the cages? Thats disgusting, no offense! When you clean them up, i will be glad to speak to you, but im not very impressed Kirby

Thats like my guys... They now have their 2nd clutch of 5 infertile eggs, but i know why. The male whos 4 now, doesnt have the best balance. I have seen him mount, but none were fertile. Maybe that is the case with yours... My hen is 2, so shes not old, neither is the cock. Im going to take the eggs out, let them rest for a month, then reintroduce the nest box..then hoopefully the male will successfully mount here this time! So in all, i think that is what is hapnneing to your guys aswell! Unless shes over the age of 5, and hes over tha age of 7-8....then its becuase of old age...and you should stop trying to breed them.. Kirby

Why on earth did they give you an egg?!?!?!?....Is your hen going to sit on it? If shes not in breeding condition, and/or if there is no nest box that shes comfortable in, shell never lay on it, and he will be dead shortly! Id suggest you take it back to the neighbour ASAP and try to let his mom hatch him....but its probably to late now, if hes not been sat on for over even 20 minutes.... Kirby
