Chico and Ariel are the other ones you see....then Tango is yellow spangle....blue is Toby He was plucked becuase his mom had like 5 r 6 new eggs...and he was the oldest one....so he and his brother were getting kicked out!....So ya, the mom did all that to him in 6 hours! When the breeder was at work! Sad eh!....But i just looked, and there are many new ones coming in...little pin feathers!....so within next two weeks MAX his head will look normal...and his wong(s) will take probably 3 weeks.... Sad isnt it nerwen! Hes soo cute though! Looks deformed though, sinc half his head feathers are off! how long does it take for them to re-appear normaly?..im thinking 2-3 weeks for them to all be back? He has a few pin feathers coming back in....that have opened more than yesterday....sooo..... Also, what do you think they too will produce together? Tangos a dilute green spangle hen...and Toby's a violet spangle male.....Im thinking all green spangles...since Tangos parents were a green spangle male, and a olive green male...then Toby's parentys were a normal blue male, and a skyblue spangle mom.....Is there a chance for blue spangle?...I LOVEEE THAT COLOUR!!!...sooo stunning!....but i dont mind more green! Ya....his mom plucked him....to try and get him out of the nest since she laid 5 more eggs!.....Him and his other btoher got plucked...not his 4 sisters though.... No, well Yes i did qureanteen Tango....See, well one day when i had Tango on my shoulder we went into other room where other birds were. Without me knowing, she flew onto their cage (dont ask me how i didnt know). I was soo busy getting my binder for homework, i left room. I was in other room, then when to get Tango off of my shoulder. I reached back, and no Tango! I ran around house, to find her on my other birds cage getting preened by Ariel though cage bars! They fell in mad love! So, i let other ones out to fly around room, and they all feed her!...It was sooo cute so i let them stay together..since Tango was already quaranteened for like a week which isnt long at all, but better than nothing. So, when i got Toby yesterday, from same breeder as Tango, i put them together since Tango should still be in quaranteen, and this way, they are bonding VERY good when small, so they will grow up paired like my others ones who are now!...who have all paired up! YAY!...your right! I remember when he kept loosing his balance! Right now, i have them in with my other ones (Kirby and Belle) in the big cage with the nest boxes (theres 2...so no fights occur). They loose interest in one another when they are seperated from Kirby and Belle...so i figure, what the heck, as long as no fight break out, ill keep them int the big cage all together! Kirby and Belle are paired up, so they are always courting aswell..but Belle only like 5 months old...so i cant breed her...although Kirby wants to now!... So....i hope they do breed successfuly Nerwen! Are you saying that Marine would step on her, but would fall off?....thats what Chicos doing...but i have only seem him get on once...and that was the time he fell..... Kirby UPDATE!!!: They were just going at it! Chico mounted her like 5 times! None were actualy matings though. He jumped on sideways, backwards, and the one time he jumped on the right way, he fell off! (Laughing out loud).....so this is great progress!!!!...YAY!!!.....
