  1. Do you have an Nintendo Wii? What are your favorite games to play and why? What game would you like to try out that you haven't yet? Have you found a good place to buy games for a good price? Tell us all about it!! Personally, I haven't tried much yet. I love the Sports Edition, I have played the bowling with my kids but that is it. I would like to try the Wii Fit it looks awesome and I have heard good things about it. I tried Guitar Hero, I need much more practice. Where to buy games, I haven't figured that one out. Amazon is having a sale buy 1 get 1 free on certain games.
  2. glad she is doing well
  3. Pretty much like cats, yes SW?
  4. I see the yellow in the body not in the wings, I think breeding him out would probably solve the issue huh if he is going to be bred, I am leaning now toward YF2 Double Factor as Neville (suggested) if he is not a YF1.
  5. I agree he is far to young and why take the risk. A hen can get very upset if the male is not experience and doing what she wants and she could attack and kill him. The best thing you can do is set up a pair for success so that means that they are both mature physically and mentally to raise a clutch together there is no reason anyone should put a pair into a situation to stress out either birds.

Hello, glad to have you here, we look forward to seeing pictures of your birds and getting to know you and your flock.
  12. Good luck, I would try an avian vet before you go to just the local vet but if that is all that you have available then it will do. Keep us updated.
  13. There are hobbies I need to get back into but the kids take a lot of time and then when they are going my hobby is getting my house straightened up..is that a hobby LOL I love to read, I want to put our new dog Sonny through therapy dog work (which has always been something I wanted to do), I would also love to be a puppy raiser for the Guides for the Blind. I love photography also.
  14. One thing to remember is that all cockatiels have the barring it isn't until they molt out that the hens will loose the barring so if your tiel is young and it has the barring it doesn't mean hen at first. Pearls cock will loose their spots and females to retain their spots. There is also a good site cockatiel.org that goes over the mutations.

You can clip them if you want but make sure you have the powder or something to stop the bleeding incase you clip to short. An easier way is for someone to hold him wrapped up in a wash cloth so he can't wiggle and you can pull out his foot to clip the nail OR when they hang on the side of the cage if he doesn't move you can clip that way too. I personally don't clip Merlin's nails but he doesn't walk around on the carpet only on his cage, on the desk and on me .

excellent photos Daz, I really need to work on my skills and figure out my camera more.
  17. that is true good point Neville, I remember read that too.
  18. I agree cock
  19. they usually hatch 1 every other day
  20. Keep him quarantined from your birds for at least 30 days, that means his own cage, in a different room, because he was a stray on the safe side since you are planning on keeping him I would take him to an avian vet to check out his poops, see why he is limping, weigh him and overall general exam. This would be a good investment for your existing birds.
  21. I would have bought that for Merlin because he loves lattice balls, I won't now, thank you for posting.
  22. I don't see the bleeding into the wings at all now I remember Neville saying this would be a Yellow Face 1 and the yellow into the body that we see would be a fault but if it was a Yellow Face 2 the yellow would be in the wings too. Any confirmation on this?
  23. look forward to seeing pictures
