  14. They are a beautiful bunch of birds :glare:. I fixed the pictures, what you need to do is when you copy the first image code press enter then copy the next image code, have all image codes under each other and that will make the picture under each other vs make it horizontal . Hope that helps...

Cuties, make sure they are cracking their seed and eating okay. Check the poos they should be white, black and firm not watery. Kaz, is right you have your birds in a round cage? The spacing looks to big too? Can you take a picture of the cage so we can help you out.

Hi folk, pardon my ignorance; could somebody please explain what a cholla log is?Click this link for a picture (not promoting the site)http://www.busybeaks.com/20037_cholla_log.htm As long as you use a tree bark that is safe yes.Apple thing is good too much apple can cause the runs so be careful and take out all seeds they are unsafe.
  17. A key point to remember that a large flock a bird that are to be kept healthy needs a very observant caretaker where they observe their birds behaviors, look at the droppings, watch for sick birds along with doing the above that was mentioned...having a large flock means more money to be able to take care of them properly. There are many out there with large flocks and sick birds because they won't put the time and money into it. Kaz, Liv and many others are so good at doing what they do. :glare:
  18. I am not sure about the balance issue it could be that he is young and needs to get more cordinated as maybe his previous home didn't have such perches, swings etc... As for acting the way he is sounds like he still needs to gain your trust and you are right all budgies are different. We find that those that come from pet stores tend to be "harder to train" especially if they were there for a couple months in an aviary style setting while the ones that you get from a breeder that worked with the babies out of the nest are much more "tame" I wrote up an article that you can locate in the FAQ section called "Taming Your Budgie", I believe you would find it invaluable as I tamed both pet store budgie & one tamed at a very early age. Let me know if you have any questions on the article etc...after you review it.
  19. Here in our FAQ Mutation Section you will see the Green & Blue Dark Factor Explanation to check back on :glare: http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/faqs/i...t=6&seite=1
