When To Re-clip?
if you want to keep him flightness then you can go ahead and reclip those feathers it really doesn't matter if you wait or do 1 or 2 at a time but if you do it this way you will be clipping more often because others will pop in as he molts the clipped ones out.

Boris Is Unwell
Not a post I want to see Karen, we love Boris. I would keep her in a small cage and keep her very warm this will help them greatly - I have learned this since Pretty passed away. She may be going through a heavy molt? Merlin just went through one and he was very quiet, looked like *** and I was worried about him but I really kept him warm and he is fine now and back to his old self . Keep us updated okay.

Getting Storm Tamed
although she is more frightend of it now and every time I put it near her she gives it a good peck. Why do you think this is? Just because they were tame before doesn't mean that they keep their tameness especially after being put into an aviary situation for a couple months, birds if given a chance will revert back to their wild state, they are not domesticated like cats and dogs. I did step up with her and she responded quite well to that. Did she step up on her own or did you have to put your finger under her? Also I want to introduce her to the joys of coming our of her cage and foraging. How can I do this? She just sits on the perch or swing and sits. Also she doesn't really know what greens or veggies are so advice here would be helpful! You don't feed your aviary birds greens or veggies? I would think she would know this if you did? If you don't I would start feeding them veggies and greens too . I would start putting her favorite treats in different things, like does she like millet? As she gets more comfortable she will start to move around more. In the Food Section we have a post PINNED on how to get them to start foraging, read through that and you will get some really good tips too. Keep us updated for sure .

Hopeful Newcomer
but if you don't want accident breeding or deal with that which it CAN happen, go with a female just like him. I agree it is a male, the 3rd picture is an excellent shot of the cere. A female cere will be a lighter pink, with large white nostril rings or have a tan tinge to it (in most cases).

Cover For A Large Cage
If you go to e-bay and type in bird cages you may find someone who makes them if you want to go that route, I found that here in the U.S.

Our Budgies...
I am not seeing any pictures, do you have to be a member where you uploaded them? If so I would suggest using photobucket.com, or maybe it is just me? As for Loral, since I can't see him I can tell you clearwings have very faint body and head markings and their body color is full strength with no dilutation a Full Body Greywing has grey wings, flights and head marking and the body color is full strength also.

Hello From Glen
I would say she is a Skyblue Opaline Clearwing and could be carrying the violet factor because I see a bit of opalansence around the neck. I don't see spangle in her at all but it could be masked

Mutations Section...everyone Read
Don't forget we have an awesome thread called Member's Budgies, when you click here http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/faqs/i...&artlang=en it will take you to the thread where you can click on what mutation budgie (s) you own and you can add pictures here in the different mutation sections, therefore everyone can display say their Opaline or their Recessive Pieds so other members can see these different mutations and help with identifying their own birds. If you have an Recessive Pied Opaline Spangle feel free to post in all three mutations...ex... Recessive Pied - Opaline - Spangle. Look forward to these threads getting more pictures of our member's birds .
