Pretty has started doing this recently too he does it with his beak.

does he do this when he is preening? This is normal. I find my birds preen all the time and they do the head scratch associated with it. Just like a cat they start at one end and finish at the other . If you feel he may have mites don't treat yourself have him seen by an avian vet. It is not good to treat unless you know for sure, it can create more harm then good .

I know this may sound silly but can you feed it 1/2 way put it back in the nest at that point it really is crying out and see if they notice? Or is that just a no no? Of course if they ignore him just finish the feed.

All I think of is lemons and suns when I see the lutino what a bright and gorgeous yellow. Creamino is simply sweet reminds me of soft baby colors :bluebudgie:. The spangle love him as well!
