  1. Karen that is an interesting point and I think would make sense that it could make the yellow a stronger color. Glad these babies are coming out healthy and gorgeous
  2. I believe she is opaline you can see the green in her shoulders and through her wings, she may be badly marked opaline. Just like all spangles are different some are very thick marks and some are not.

Hurdy knowing Karen she probably went back now Who would resist those BLUE feet did you notice they all have blue feet pretty much they must be from the same clutch
  4. It is not a very clear picture but would I would say would be a yellow face type 2 possible greywing dominant pied. The greywing if the marking on the wings are grey vs black like a normal budgie. or he could be green/yellow but again the picture is not very clear

awe Shawna they are all so precious I really enjoyed the sleepy pics of the kids . Kito so reminds me of Merlin's coloring.
  6. Spangle is dominant and I hate to tell you there is no way you could have had all spangle babies from that pairing. If you do open breeding then your hen could have mated with another bird that you had that was a spangle or if she was breed with a spangle before and she was bred back to back it could happen because she could still have the other males sperm. Another idea is that your Lutino was a Double Factor Spangle instead of a lutino but they are easy to tell the difference so I can't imagine that. Again to have spangle babies one of the parent is a visual there is no such thing as split for spangle because it is domanint and always shows up. Hope that makes sense.

Naughty you they are beautiful and I like the names you went with. Congrats.
  9. 1st one could even be dilute not sure if the light washed the coloring out. 2nd one is also an opaline so the cock you have must be split for opaline 3rd I can't see the crest but I think you are right
  10. how exciting they are looking good Karen
  11. simply gorgeous!
  12. They are looking good. I agree Nerwen they have such a soft yellow to them so baby like. I remember seeing one over here at the pet shop that we got Pretty from a while back.
  13. I see it you would think it would do with a yellow factor because blue and yellow make green. It is like a yellow tailed (Laughing out loud) (but green) vs a yellow face. Pretty's isn't that noticeable but he does have teal feather tails.
  14. really is it an avian vet? That is odd

Here is a picture of Pretty's cere he is a recessive pied the rule follows on them for the pink smooth cere for male. Pretty is a male if it looks similar to this cere you most likely have a male.
  16. you know you will come across it when you least expect it then you can share with us too
  17. Not sure about the fake plants BUT Karen aka bubbles as a gorgeous natural set up. You may want to search out her set up in avairies plus I know there are alot of suggestions there too Welcome back
  18. Oh that first and second picture is to die for. Very innocent and sweet looking, you can flat post one of those to me too or just all of them we wouldn't want them to be lonely on the way to Elly's
  19. she is a cutie you can tell them that the yellow face gene will continue to contribute to her "seafoam" type of green and they may see the yellow wash over her body even more.
  20. I hope they sue this agency this is just horrible experience. I know I would. I am glad out of all this the 2 are okay and doing well. Hats off to you Kerrie!
  21. better watch your aviaries she could be out there at night stuffing them in pillowcases to bring them home
