Welcome welcome :budgiedance:, glad you joined. The cere pics are too blurry to tell if it is a boy or girl But if the cere is very pink and smooth you probably have a boy, if it is more whitish pink and have large white nasal rings you probably have a girl. By the way I really like the name Harley

Nice to have you here and welcome :fear
  7. Hope Lukie is up feeling better today. Have you noticed that he gets these bout of illness like right before a molt or after? Trying to figure out if there is a pattern if there is a way you can boost his immune system. OFFTOPIC: thank you for the kinds on the other post, you were right on track :fear
  8. You got the best advise anyone can give you and that is to take her to an avian vet or at least a vet around you because we can not diagnosis her or give you answers for no cost we would be guessing and that is not fair to you or your bird. Calling vets and asking them upfront what the fees are is best. We live all around the world so it is different and even from city to city vets charge difference. Please don't take this wrong but if you can't afford to vet your budgie in a time of need then maybe you should reconsider rehoming them until you can care for them properly. Also breeding is not very responsible to breed if you don't have the funds because again just like parents and babies may need vet care and it does cost. I don't mean to be harsh but they are living creatures that will need vet care. If our kids where hurt we wouldn't say I can't afford to take them to the MD because they are sick. This is a really great read from our FAQ section Do Birds Need Vets
  9. Don't blame yourself you gave her so much and she knew it. I look back on my Pretty and blamed myself but in the end a greater force wanted them to fly free in birdie heaven and watch over their loved onces. Cherish in the moments of love, kisses, and more and it will bring a smile to your face all the time. ((hugs))
  10. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
  11. Daz I love this poem. ORCA I hope you are doing okay..((hugs))
  12. I agree with macka it looks like a hen in the last picture the other couple pics above are too far away it looks pink but a crinkly tan pink not a smooth bright pink like a male recessive pied. We have our handly dandly FAQ's to help us out here with comparative pics Click here for Example of Recessive Pied/Albino Ceres
  13. Are you colony breeding where another cock got to her or where is her partner? As for the use of that leg she needs to be seen by a an Avian Vet ASAP to give you an answer.
  14. He is right what a wonderful man and tell me I said that. I think just like kids birds feel more needy when they don't feel well and it comforts them. When they feel good they can get back to their old antics :(Laughing out loud):

  17. hugs, you both are extraordinary pet owners..hats off to you. Keep us update and we will continue to keep Lukie in our thoughts.
  18. Bobbi can be short for Roberta if you find she is a she for sure.
  19. in our FAQ we have a good picture of sexling male to females at a young age. Male budgie ceres at a young age are very pink and smooth sometimes they have small clear nasal rings Female budgies are whitish pink and can have large white nasal rings It is a nice cage a little on the tall side vs the wide side and will do well for 1 budgie. If you decide to get 2 I would upgrade. Congrats
  20. What type of testing did they do? Did you go to an avian vet? This doesn't sound normal all avian vets I know can at least some up with something or start them on antibiotics to fight of any infection. I do feel you need to get a 2nd opinion and I am very sorry about all this. I would also contact the pet store or breeder about your bird falling ill.
