Are These A Good Pair
All birds make a nice pair, it just depends what you are looking for. It is hard to tell the type of blues they are due to the flash and distance of the pictures. But you will get 100% blues (mixed cobalt and mauves) The light mauve one (the cock) what color are his wings? The flash looks like it might of washed out his color or he looks like a lighter mauve.

My Opaline Greygreen Split To Lacewing Cocks
Are these cocks split for lacewing? They are very beautiful birds. There is a good debate about breeding runners I am not sure if the post was started by feathers but I remember he asking or putting input into the conversation you may want to search for it.

Taming Older Budgies
In the FAQ there is a taming article that can be used for both young and older birds I would start there and see what you can use to help the process of trust along. The biggest thing is gaining their trust so forcing them to do anything they don't want to do is a no no especially with hands.

Camping With The Little One
I understand that for sure. As long as he is in a secure area with a consistent heat soure he will be fine. Traveling is not the issue in my mind it is being secure at all times. My Merlin traveled for 6 hours and did great. My worry is that when you are tenting where will he be? Cars retain cold and heat so that is not always a good solution. I am sure you will get it all worked out.

Sleeping More
It is normal for budgies to sleep with their heads tuck but if it associated with listfullness and other behavior changes as you have mentioned it is not normal.

What Is This Cock's Mutation?
Why?
-
Sleeping More
If there is a sudden behavior change, being fluffed up, sleeping more, listless your bird is sick and should be seen by an avian vet. I would quarantine her into another cage and see if you can take a look at her dropping also to see if they are normal or not. Keeping her isolated from the others will help you determine and see the signs better.

What Type Of Bird
GB is right you can have more then 1 mutation on a bird but with Lacewing this is a combination of Lutino (if yellow) or Albino (if white) with Cinnamon Gene together. So saying that a Lacewing = Lutino Cinnamon (but they are not called that they are considered a mutation), it wouldn't be the same as say a Spangle Cinnamon . Now that is confusing. Here is the description: http://www.budgieplace.com/c_lacewing.html Lacewing Lacewing is a composite variety of lutino/albino and cinnamon. The budgie is mostly yellow (in yellow-based budgies) or mostly white (in white-based budgies). A suffusion of the body color is slightly visible in the body feathers. The markings of the head, wings, and tail show up as a light cinnamon color and the cheek patches are pale violet. The eyes are red/pink, and the cere of the male lacewing does not change normally. Adult male lacewings have purple ceres. Adult female lacewings have the normal white/tan/brown ceres. This variety is mostly only seen in exhibition budgies.

Camping With The Little One
I think that is best because he won't be secure, now if the policeman works nights would he not be willing to watch him because he can't come during the day? For 4 days I think it would be perfectly okay if the schedule was a little different that would ensure him being safe and snug at home. 4 days he will be okay with not a lot of interaction, as long as the food, water is changed daily and he is covered nightly he will do okay. I have done this with Merlin and he is super happy to see us when we come home.

Bye Bye To Baby
Very sorry to here this. A vet can do a nerospy on your bird, the cost for it is different for each vet, many times they can find out what happened and then other times which is often too it is inconclusive. Keep on eye on your existing flock, check for any fumes that could have come in the house etc... Pretty in my signature passed away suddenly and Merlin ended up being just fine so you just never know why.

Side View
She would be a Green Lacewing.Closing this topic as it is a duplicate.

What Type Of Bird
I answered the other post with the side view she is a Green Lacewing as stated. Very pretty. Lutino is a different mutation all together.

Eye Problem
Quarantine is when you bring a new bird (s) into your flock that you keep them in a separate room AND cage for at minumum of 30 days to ensure that your new bird is free from any immediate illness. Birds do not always show signs of illness in the beginning but when under stress such as a new enviroment it will come out so you can keep an eye out for this during these 30 days. Avian Vets do suggest 90 days maximum no less then 30 days. You will find many articles when you do a search on the forum along with an article called Quarantine Program in the Health Section under the FAQ's (link located on top) that is used by breeders. Strict quarantine is essential to protect your existing flock of birds or even that person who has 1 bird and is looking to get a 2nd bird.

Very Sick Bird! Help!
I agree with lochan, you need to find out what is going through your flock, it sounds like they all may need to be treated and some are showing signs at a later time. Keep us updated.

Camping With The Little One
Honestly, and this is just me, is there someone that can watch him? Will he be secured when you are gone? This whole thing is worrying me a bit.

Camping With The Little One
Are you camping in a trailer or a tent? If you have a trailer and you have electricity you could use a small heater to keep his quarters warm.
