  1. He is a Yellow Face Type 2 Full Body Grey Wing Since she is an opaline you can write down in your breeding records that dad is carrying the opaline gene. If mom is not a grey wing then you can write in her breeding records that she is split for greywing but if she is a greywing when you breed these 2 you will always have 100% greywing.

knowing throwback, I didn't take it wrong at all...if that helps , again a very useful topic indeed!!
  3. FGM, yes you can have more then 1 entry, I think I noited that in the instructions I hope
  4. I agree with breeding condition there on the hen .
  5. could you please post a picture it is hard to determine what it could be, thank you
  6. I keep my grid covered with newspaper it is so simple to clean so you may just want to keep it that way it is a pain getting bird poo out of the grids. When I bought Pretty home he was very quiet for a long time as long has he is alert, responding to you and he is not fluffed up and he is perching okay he is probably just very quiet. You can read the FAQ on taming your budgie's too I put in my experience of what I did when I first brought Pretty home.
  7. I agree with you Liv, though maybe there is no "complete" proof that rust is not good I certainly would not want to be sitting on rust or ingesting myself so I wouldn't want it for my bird that is actually more delicate then our own human systems. I am sure this is as debatable as wing clipping. Another good point is how cold it does get I would think that could cause arthritis more readily.
  8. I really like the first one, congrats and awesome results.
  9. awesome pictures and throwback & Sunnie (not favoring you AT ALL) I love your husky a breed close to my heart as we have too who is 13y, I posted some pics in off topic a couple weeks back... Continue to add your pics here is mine, Maxx the cat By the Way...you can add as many as you like you are not limited to 1 photo.
  10. Your birds are beautiful :hap:, welcome.
  11. This morning, I let him out and about he felt safe on his cage for the moment not pushing it he is eyeing my desk (remember everything is different (Laughing out loud) - including the desk) so I know he will warm up quickly. I won't have time today but I will over the week and get some pics of him.

  20. those flea type of markets are terrible, I have seen many animals being sold like that very sad
  21. you exercise them from hopping from finger to finger and you can do a climbing motion up to get them to climb this is another way to exercise. I did that with both of mine when they were clipped , foraging for food is also excellent to keep their minds busy.
