  1. Oh Terri, all of my best wishes and love are with you, Pippin and Piper..
  2. Very Beautiful... although the only way i could watch it was with the volume muted so the tears wouldnt start ... I really love this, Thank you Anne
  3. Oh im so sorry to hear such sad news.. and just like Lovey said, give him massive amounts of kisses and tell him how much he is loved.. Kisses Cheeky Love Apple, Munchy, Mig and Me....
  4. Lucky enough i think i have found where the snake got in through.. and whats even more lucky is thankfully it was only a tree snake considering only a couple of months ago i had a 4 foot Taipan out on the back patio (near the aviary) Yikes, thats a snake i don't want to be going touching.. i've been bitten by one of those already, NOT FUN.. Mind you i don't mind snakes and we often get Pythons about the place.. This one had the sweetest little nature, I just wanted to keep him .. The back of my house heads out onto the golf course and then its just BUSH.. we get all sorts of things here but the most odd was around Christmas time, we had a Huge Black Boar running down the street Cheers  Una
  5. I have just just watched the forum Memorial Video and its got me thinking about little Princess and her Mysterious passing.. I have since had 2 Adult birds pass on with no obvious reasons, two chicks have been found dead and many eggs have been going walkabout :glare: .. Well I have just finished "extending" the aviary and today I was in there making it all pretty (as you do).. I was sitting on my little stool with scissors in hand, cutting the grass I have a blue tongue lizard running about the bottom and have lots of hidey holes for him to sleep in, i would have thought my aviary was pretty well snake proof until... i saw it... Well actually i touched it lucky it had a full belly and was snoozing. I phoned the "Snake Man" to come and get rid of it for me, I was glad to discover it was only a tree snake but most likely to be the cause of the mysterious aviary deaths and happenings. So now with the extra resident removed i may have a little more success with the birds and hopefully no more passings.. Actually I will probably have healthy dogs again too, they have been unwell for a while now and they seemed to always hang about where the snake was hiding, we just thought they were chasing little geckos and skinks and the cane toad licking was making them sick ... Time will tell .. Cheers  Una
  6. I dont actually remember the name of the shop, I picked it up when i went on holidays a little while ago.. I have seen huts for sale on ebay and other sites but i havent yet come across another fluffy yellow one * :dbb1: If only i could work out how to fit into it too
  7. :ausb: Its amazing how similar they look, might just be the wet factor or just the fact they are both incredibly adorable
  8. :ausb: Awww look at his little chubby cheeksss
  9. :ausb: OH BEA! He is just adorable These pictures make me think of Blinks when he was just a little tack and posing exactly the same in soggy wet shower photos If you still have them (and know which ones im talking about) you should post them side by side so we can get a double dose of soggy sweetness
  10. i thought you were going to get one and keep it for when Blinks gets his new pet so they had mutual territory to meet on (Laughing out loud).. ya big softie, now you have to make a new plan :(Laughing out loud): Its HUGE and Blinks looks so cute sitting on it, he is such a cute lil guy :ausb: Cheers  Una
  11. I'm thinking mig must be between 6 and 8 weeks old.. I've lost track so not 100% sure, his head doesn't appear all that much smaller than Apples and i think it was more sheer determination that he was going to get out of his cage that did it.. He is doing really great now and has my mum twisted about his lil foot, she comes over just for snuggles with him while she tells Apple and Munchy storys Mig lays flat out like a pancake on our chests and falls to sleep with a good ol back rub.. he is such a baby I have pictures of the Trio and their Grandma that i will post a little later on.. Cheers  Una
  12. very sweet.. I love the last picture
  13. Maybe Opal.. just because of his colourings..
  14. Yeah lil Miggy is inside now although i thought id lost him yesterday .. I had him separated from Apple and Munchy in a smaller cage for the comfort factor for him but during a period of a few hours when i was out yesterday, he had somehow managed to get his head stuck through the wire (yes it is a budgie cage with small gaps) and then he managed to get his wings stuck oh both sides of him through the wire as well so i found him hanging by the neck with his back against the wire with feet just hanging, pinned down by his stuck wings I got him out fairly quickly and he didn't do any obvious damage to himself although i thought he wasn't going to make it from shock. I gave him some probiotics in his water and dropper fed him this, the poor lil mite was sooooooo thirsty. Hes doing great today but id imagine he would still have a sore neck. Cheers  Una
  15. Aww poor little baby.. She left knowing she was loved and thats what matters, you did a great job and did all you could for her budgiebird.. Im truly sorry for your loss..
  16. :(Laughing out loud): Funny shots..
  17. Yeah Mig will be staying inside now with Apple and Munchy
  18. »-(¯`Una´¯)-» replied to a post in a topic in Budgie Pictures
Aww what a cutie.. That would have to be the most perfect shade of green Hommer
  19. Oh Lovey he has the most sweetest little nature too.. he is soooooo much like Apple its amazing.. So gentle and doesn't have a care in the world, he managed to wrap my hubby about his wing so easy too..
  20. It use to be a topic that was raised quite a lot in here but i haven't seen it come up lately.. Budgies in those little sleeping triangle thingys... I bought one ages ago for Apple and he HATED it and Munch never took to it either. A few days ago I was ALLOWED to bring Mig inside with Apple and Munchy.. I had him in a separate cage for quarantine but later discovered the other half sitting on the sofa with ALL THREE BIRDS on him :yelling: .. ANYWAYYYYYYYY mig is such a little snuggle bum and always wanting cuddles but i don't always have the time so i thought id see how he would like the little fluffy triangle My sleepy little baby thought he was in heaven.. Cheers  Una
  21. :(Laughing out loud): @ the last photo
  22. YAY for Casper *claps hands* *sigh I wish i could get snow pea sprouts for my birds but they dont sell them where i am and my pair love Love LOVE them.. the only time they get them is when i order a takeaway meal from the bowls club and it ALWAYS has sprouts on it
  23. Uhhhh NO nice try though.. at the moment he is starting to just come out of his nesting box to take sneeky peeks about the aviary. I cant wait till he is flying about so i can see him better
