  1. Wow Maesie this is the most wonderfull and loving story have ever herad. For that you are a truly amazing person for giving her second chance that she may not have had anywhere else, she sounds absolutly adorable and so loving towards you. I really do hope that this will inspire others to do such amzing things also. Hope she is doing well and good luck to the both of you.
  2. These are totaly adorable!! Good luck and congrats on your amazing and adorable little bundles of joy. They are just too cute!!
  3. Oh no it's turning brown now, and I thought they only turned brown when in condition
  4. My Normal green hen Kiwi has no sign of Iris's and she is past one year old, why is this? Her younger brother from another clutch already has his and he's only 6 or 7 months old and he has the split for recessive pied spot on his head.
  5. I would scream so hard if that came flying towards me, lol
  6. I am truly sorry for you loss,
  7. I just adore her throught spot's I don't know why, Recessive pied's don't develope Iris rings do they? (I forget) And why do her throught spots look brownish? They do in real life not just in photo's she is not cinnamon but her father is split for it, and her sister in the same nest was a cinnamon(don't know if that has anything to do with it)
  8. Your budgie's do look to be both female to me, but now you know what to look out for.
  9. Their Cere's will change to a mature colour as they age if they are both female's the Cere will stay whitw/pale blue when out of condition and when in breeding condition their Cere will be a nutmeg to a dark crusty brown colour. If they are male their Cere will be pink since it's a recessive pied and Blue for the normal when they mature. Hope I'm of any help. Jodie

  18. I want to go to Japan because I'm trying to get back into contact with a friend who moved back there 9 years ago and I'd love to meet her in person again, I will do that list thing for them though. It's also something me and my brother have wanted to do for sometime I just was'nt old enough back then.
  19. Oh my, I am truly sorry for your loss
  20. I did think of that right after I was done, I'm really selfish that way....sorry
  21. Well I'm planning to go to Japan sometime next year and am planning ahead. I'll be going with my older brother and his mate Dave and I would love to take a budgie with me I relize how stressfull it would be it's just hoestly I don't trust my family. I relize how expendive it would be. But I would be going for quite sometime and I would miss them terribly, my mother too. If it's to much I will just have to suck it up and leave them with my parents and sister. My sister even said to me after I asked her if she'd take care of the budgie's for me. She said "Jodie I can't even take care of a hamster!" so yeah I think you should be able to see where I'm coming from.
  22. I don't understand what you mean, because I thought budgie' s mated then two days later they lay an egg. I took a picture of her just seconds ago
