Ivermectin is great though cause it's a one off treatment. One drop between the wings and it clears up super fast. Surely that's less stress than a needle?

I've never heard of injections for scaley face. You should ask your vet about ivermectin because seeing as you're needing to treat all your birds it'll work out cheaper and it works perfectly.

All your birds will need treating. When one of my aviary budgies got it i had to treat the lot even though i had separated the infected one. Scaley face is REALLY contagious!

Not sure, i haven't had time to go watch for too long. I'd guess he's a bit lonely, though there are plenty of other ladies who've had their eye on him.

You could also take a photo of the photo. I've done that a couple of times when i've been too lazy to set up the scanner.

I'm not convinced that it's large enough to be a permanent home for a budgie (i'm assuming that seeing as it'll be outdoors there'll be no flight time). You'd still have to clean it because poop would get stuck on the wires.

I wish i could get another aviary *sigh*, i'd love some tiel's or something.

They were really thin, they always have seed so i'm not sure why, although i suspect that the seed quality is a bit sus, we got it in bulk for a change. Here's my babies, may they rest in peace. She's a cinnamon violet. :hap: I think if you breed them you'd get normal cobalts and skyblues. If dad's split to cinnamon then you'd get cinnamons as well. Now, let's wait for someone to correct me.

I think pin feathers are the budgie equivalent of pimples. I always laugh when Blinkie 'breaks out' in zits.
