If she's lavander colour it sounds like she'd be dilute or cinnamon....what colour are her wing markings?

They've been play mates for over a month now and most of the time they get along great. :ausb: It's just these little bursts of evilness from Blinkie. Sailorwolf - i'll try that, that's what i have tried before but because Ozzie's only just warming up to me now he's decided, "right, nice roomy cage, birdy company, i don't think i'll come out anymore", that's why i've kept them separate. I'll keep them separate for a while longer seeing as Ozzie's really beginning to bond to me and once i think that my bond is strong enough with him i'll see how they go in the same cage.

Blinkie is jealous i think. At least once a day for the past few days he's gone up to Ozzie and just grabbed his wing and ACK ACK ACKing at him and trying to bite. I put my finger between them like a barrier and Blinkie wanders off to sulk until i move my finger. Then it's right back to trying to harm Oz. Most of the time they get on great and play together, share food, etc. Ozzie's been bonding with me more and more the last few days. He will sit on my arm or shoulder and play with my earrings and necklace, he gives me kisses and he just generally is growing to like my company. I'm not giving Blinkie any less attention, just including Ozzie in the hugs and kisses more. But obviously Blinkie's not happy. I was thinking if Ozzie keeps improving maybe they can be housed together soon but if Blinks is going to have random fits of jealousy that wouldn't be a great idea. Any tips on something i can do to make them both feel loved and included?

She's an opaline spangle green. It's because she's also opaline that the wings are edged in green rather than black. So you could get a double factor spangle. The dad reminds me of Blinks.

Today in the shopping i discovered this: It contains: white french millet, panicum millet, red panicum millet, plain canary, japanese millet, linseed, canola, lucerene grass, parsley, currents, paw paw, apricots. I read all that and decided that it seemed to have lots of different seeds and stuff and that i would give it a try. I was just wondering about the lucerene grass, that's okay right? After pouring a bit of the mix into Blink and Oz's seed cup on their gym i discovered the lucerene grass makes up quite a large portion of the mix. :fear Looks a bit like rabbit food! :hap: They enjoyed making a huge mess and throwing the grass and parsley all over the place! Do you think i could use it as a regular seed mix?
