Two extremely annoying, flirty budgies? I can just see them zooming around getting into all sorts of trouble!

Poor Ozzie has been corrupted....yep, it's begun....the flirting with inanimate objects. My innocent little baby! He even poofs up his head and mimics Blinkie's flirty chirps. I swear it changes his whole appearance when he poofs up and goes flirty. :

I would also say girl, girl, boy, girl.

I just noticed the sounds a bit out of sync with the image, so when it sounds like i'm clicking before Blinkie steps up i'm actually not. You'll have to keep us updated on Bobby's training.

Ozzie bathed in his water dish when i first got him too....and so did Alfred when i first got him.....maybe it's a budgie's way of relieving stress?

I love that photo of Pretty! So cute! I know how you guys must be feeling. I hated juggling my time between Blinkie and Ozzie. I felt really bad that Ozzie had to stay locked in my room but it's worth it in the end.

I should be able to make it a bit better, the first one anyway.

I think i will start clicker training Oz. I think it could help us to bond, i just have to find a food he'll take happily from me. Next time Blinkie gets ratty and won't go in his cage i'll get the camera out. Hopefully he'll happy dance on camera, might not be for like a week though cause dad's taking the camera to Sydney. :offtopic:

Yup, looks like a yellow face cobalt recessive pied. :hap: A clearer picture would give a better idea of sex but i'm basically 100% sure he's male because his cere's so pink. If he were female it wouldn't be so translucent looking and would be more purpley whitish coloured. :hap:

You can get them from pet shops or on ebay. :hap: Blinkie's still doing well, i'm still mainly working on getting him to step up and come when called. Sometimes he gets a bit smart with me and starts zooming around with happy dances whenever he lands but i find that if i do training sessions after he's been out of his cage for a while and is feeling a bit hungry he behaves PERFECTLY for millet....strange, huh? :hap:

Yeah, that's what i understand too. And i think goldenfaces basically look green but are actually blue...

Well Blinkie does make it easy by flying in tiny circles so that he's always in the camera frame. :ausb:

Thanks guys. I'm so pleased they're getting along. Blinkie's personality seems to shine even more now that he has a feathered friend. And his behaviour is beginning to show in Ozzie. Ozzie's got the whole poofy head flirty chirp thing going on. :ausb:

:(Laughing out loud): I like the termites one too! Nope, not because they don't get along but because Ozzie refuses to come out of the cage once he's in with Blinks. So for now it works well to keep the separate. I'm trying to find a nice cage with a divider so they can be neighbours.

Yeah, don't use the same gym/toys. When i got Ozzie i also got a new gym. Blinkie got the big new one and Ozzie got Blinkie's old gym. :hap:
