Actually, clipping one side isn't too good for the bird. It'd be like us trying to row a boat with one paddle. I only clip once for taming and to get them used to the house so they don't go smashing into windows, then they're free to zoom around pooping on everyone and terrorising the dogs.

Ozzie can fly pretty good now, he can get right across the room from the kitchen to Blinkie's cage. He doesn't fly too much though. Not nearly as much as Blinkie.

Here's some new photos of my boys, taken especially for lovey. Blinkie was being difficult and didn't feel like getting his photo taken (typical, i should have pretended i wanted to photograph Migs!) but Ozzie was posing beautifully. Upside down Oz-man. Preening, Blinkie's favourite sport. Checking to make sure Ozzie doesn't have any cool toys. Who's a cutie budgie?! Get your beak out of the camera! Hmm....what's the matter? Blinkie actually WANTS to go in his cage?! Oh i see, his stomach rules everything!
  4. I'm sorry about Max. But those babies are just soooo cute!

I think playing. Blinkie pulls Ozzie's tail all the time cause he thinks it's funny.
  6. Put it this way, you know when someone comes along and makes you feel ill cause their budgies are in small cages on all seed diets? That used to be me.
  7. I know, he wouldn't be Lord Blinkie if there was a lot he could learn from a weeny fluff ball baby budgie like Ozzie.
  8. Those posts with the different mutations are in this forum actually, just go back a few pages and you should find them.
  9. They're adorable!!!!! Making me want baby budgies again!

I would say 2-4, probably 2 would be best cause was it you who said they didn't get much flight time? You've done a good job!
  11. Aw! Isn't he an angel! And such a good talker!

She's a she and i don't think it'd do anything, treating her with ivermectin because that doesn't look like scaly face. I would definitely try to clean her up with a cotton bud and some warm water and then see if it comes back. If it does even a dog and cat vet would be better than none.
  13. What a cute video!

    They're gorgeous!
  16. Ozzie has learnt that veggies are super from Blinkie. Ozzie has learnt that bells are fun from Blinks. Ozzie has learnt that flirting with inanimate objects is fun. Blinkie has learnt that silent toys are fun from Ozzie. Ozzie has learnt that I'm not a evil maniac out to get him. Ozzie has learnt that it's fun to chew on my jewellry from Blinkie. Ozzie has learnt to chatter and make silly noises from Blinkie.
  17. I think he'll be okay, you may even find he enjoys travelling! You can always take a blanket to cover the carrier to keep him calm if he seems stressed.
  18. (Laughing out loud)! Love that photo of them! The video's great too.
  19. Great photos! I'm glad they're getting along.
  20. :(Laughing out loud): Poor little Ozzie seems to have some feelings locked inside. For the first time today he noticed weeble budgie and it got such a beating! :ausb: He charges, bites, grabs, pounces, throws...he's knocked it off the desk a couple of times now and he can even knock it right over, poor dead weeble budgie. He was also trying to strangle pooh bear with a hair tie, not nice!
  21. :(Laughing out loud): Love the last picture!
  22. Aw! Apple's such a cutie! :budgiedance:
