I believe that here it's made by a company called Avi One, it was cheap and flimsy so in a way i'm glad i'm replacing it anyway... I might look for a website though, they should be aware that this happened so quickly... The company of this particular one is Avi One, but i think there are a few different ones that are REALLY similar (like identical) made by other companies. You can get a slightly taller version here for $99US. The dimensions of mine is 30" long, 18" wide, and 34" tall (not including the stand). It's a good cage, could easily fit 4 budgies in it.

I'm thrilled!! Of course, not about the me spending all my money part! But the boys will have twice as much space. They'll love it!

I doubt they'd do anything about it after 6 months anyway. But i've talked to dad and he's agreed to let me rearrange a couple of things so i can get the budgies a cage like the tiels have! I've got one on hold and i'll pick it up tomorrow.

It's all of them minus Domino and the breeders and their babies. :budgiedance:

Grrrr, i'm so irritated!! I took the budgie cage into the front room to change the toys and perches around and in the different light i noticed that the paint is chipping away in places on the roof!! : Talk about annoying!!! This means that the metal underneath is becoming exposed which i am not happy with at all! Is the metal dangerous or is it only if it rusts that it becomes dangerous? Now i'm looking for a new cage which is REALLY annoying because: 1) i've only had this one for approx. 6 months 2) i have been trying really hard to save my money in the bank and now it looks like i'm about to blow it all on a new cage!!! :budgiedance: I would REALLY like to get them one like my tiels cage (Tiel Cage) but i seriously don't know where i would be able to put it, not without moving some of the furniture around in the loungeroom anyway which i doubt my parents will allow. I pretty much don't want to get the same thing i have now because that's proved it's "quality" and i'm not going to try to save money only to have to replace it in 6 months time. I also don't want to pay $80+ to get something half the size of what they're in. :ausb: Does anyone in Australia know of a good cage design/online store with reasonable prices? I would like to get a new cage ASAP because i don't like the idea of Blink and Oz being in a chipped cage.

Here's some pics of the aviary budgies that i got this afternoon while they ate their afternoon tea. Lime was the first to dig into the greens *munch* He was soon followed by Squeak Then they were both kicked aside so Pudding and Domino could have some Some budgies were too busy to eat their healthy food Soon everyone got interested in the food Even the, err, larger frame budgies lik Gus who could use less food not more Here's a few random photos i got of budgies just hanging around

It'll look fantastic when it's all done and the birds are moved into the flights. Looking forward to more pics.

Why do you need a building application?? Why is all these rules and regulations you have to follow appearing now and not before you even started? :fear How annoying!

Blinkie likes anything hung above a perch that he can grab to balance while humping the perch below. :fear These toys that he decides are suitable usually have a bell on them. Ozzie absolute favourite is his half moon perch, he's always sitting there talking to himself or tapping the little bell. :ausb:

I'm thinking cinnamon, the pins on the eldest chick don't look very dark.

Poor little JJ. Give him a big cuddle for me, he's such a sweetie. I've never seen anything like that, hopefully the swelling will go down and he'll be happy and healthy.

My albino and the lacewing i used to have both had white iris rings. So have any other ino's i've seen in pet shops or at breeders.

Actually Ozzie flies a lot, he and Blinkie play chasies around the living room. I'm really not sure why he's so chubby. I cupped him in my hands last night and it really doesn't feel like he's carrying excess baggage so i think he might just be bigger boned.

I know, poor Ozzie. You can see he's a bit porky cause you could easily draw a circle and have in fit fairly well within his shape. Couldn't do that with Mr Muscles (Blinkie). :(Laughing out loud):
