There's also a microsoft free download called Image Resizer or something like that. I use it and it's so easy. Just right click the image and select custom size, type in 450x450 and then upload the resized picture to photobucket.

Make sure whatever you get is natural, many ropes are coated in weather proof stuff so they last longer. When i got some sisal rope for my aviary there was the choice of natural or treated.

First time i saw that one of my budgies eggs was fertile i did a little happy dance on the spot. It's a great feeling.

On another forum someone asked what the result of the pairing of a normal light green cock to a cobalt opaline hen. I said normal greens. If dad's split to blue then normal blues. If dad's split to opaline, then opaline male and females. Is this right? Someone else has said she will get opaline hens regardless of if dad is split? But i was sure this is incorrect, so came here for clarification...

It's a Canon Powershot A80. You can get the same make but better for about $350 here. I want it! It's got more zoom and some other stuff.

Get a self obsessed budgie, a mirror, and a camera on action setting. That's what i do anyway.

I'll start with these non-flight photos of Blinkie and also one of Ozzie (i feel bad, only one Ozzie photo): And here are some flight photos! They feature Blink rather than Ozzie because i can get Blinkie to fly at me by using his favourite mirror. All the other birds fly wherever they please and it's much harder to get flight piccies! Missed Blinkie but look who's tagging along, hehe, go Fizzy! I love birds in flight, with budgies it's hard to really appreciate how stunning they look because they're so darn fast! Photos freeze and capture just how stunning their wings are...

It seems that with Blink and Oz they are moulty more than they are sleek and sexy. They'll go into a moult and just when they've become sleek and smooth again the pin feathers will reappear and the cycle continues. Is this just the result of living inside in the warm?

Do you feed Vetafarm Crumbles? I used to use those until i found a source of Harrisons, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to 1) get out there and 2) get the size i want. Then you've got the cost. I can get Vetafarm Crumbles/Pellets nearby anytime i wanted (wouldn't even have to bother dad).
