Well that probably depends on what you have on the floor of the aviary. I have sand and it's easiest (sp?) for me to sweep all the seed and poop away. Then i just collect the mess with a dust pan and brush and chuck it in the bin.

I think you should remove the egg at least and the box if your babies have got their feathers, which they should have by now.

So funny how people call exactly the same thing different names. The one with the round ball is soccer in Australia!!!! How funny!!! Oh well, all ball sports (except cricket) are boring to watch!!!

I was eating some burger rings just a little while ago and was suprised to find that Blinkie was terrified of them!!! Everytime one of the scary orange rings got too close to him he would tighten his grip on my finger and lean as far away as possible!!! :(Laughing out loud): He usually tries to steal whatever i'm eating so it was really quite a change!!!!!!

An empty seed husk you think??? Surely that's a bit excessive!!! :(Laughing out loud): Maltabudgie, i really really really think you should stop trying to breed at least for a little while!!! it's probably cause the female a lot of strain to keep laying eggs and raising chicks with no success.

It's good that you're taking her to the vet. Try to get an appointment ASAP because budgies can disguise sickness and if your noticing it, it usually means they've been off colour for a while. Please keep us posted on how it goes at the vets!

Popcorn strings Get some un salted, un buttered popcorn and cook it. Then get a needle and thread and string the popcorn along the thread. You can also add beads to make it prettier. Then hang it up in your birds cage.

    I'll have to ask......
  23. Bea replied to a post in a topic in Cage Discussion
That cage seems to be the most popular in England!!! I hope i can get one like it in Australia!!!

Football. Um....maybe you call it soccer???? It's boring and i think a bit gay. Big tough guys chase an oval shaped ball around and jump on each other and then proceed to roll about on the ground. Suposed to be manly but i think otherwise!!!!!

Pixie, one time i bred with 2 males and one female in the breeding cage. I didn't know which one the daddy was! Neither did they, they both pitched in and fed and cared for the mummy bird. Maybe if the mummy bird isn't looking after the babies properly she shouldn't be bred again. It's a huge stress on the mummies body to raise chicks and if they aren't surviving then the stress probably isn't worth it.
