What a handsome fallow you have there!! Fallow is a recessive mutation meaning you would have to pair him to another fallow or a hen split for fallow. You say his mother was lacewing, this makes your fallow split lacewing because lacewing is a sex-linked mutation. If you pair him to a normal hen half the female babies will be visually lacewing and half the cocks will be split lacewing and all chicks will also be split fallow. It also looks like your fallows father was split ino because there were ino chicks in the same nest. Wow that really is a genetic soup.

Yes, I forgot the oranges and lemons. I once gave my budgies a bunch of grapes. I checked back on them a couple of hours later to find they had completely eaten all the stalk and left all the grapes. I have tried them with banana a couple of times and they never ate it.

I give my birds a soft food mix with mashed egg (boiled for 30min), soaked wheat, mung bean sprouts, good oil for birds (Passwell) along with the other veg you mentioned and sometimes raw beetroot.I also put the cooked eggs in the food processor with quick oats or multigrain bread to make a crumbly consistency. My birds go crazy for it, especially at breeding and moulting times.

The first chick looks like it's green split for blue. Check under wing (butt?) , if its blue then you have a yellowface and if it's green that will mean your budgie is green.

I think it is very good Dillster. Perhaps I would add Round number, Ring number of chicks, variety of chicks and also I would leave a few extra spaces at bottom for egg number because I have had many hens lay 10-14 eggs.

You will be amazed how easy it is to see the first veins of a fertile egg. I have found that most budgie eggs are quite transparent when a small amount of light is shone onto them. No need for any expensive torches. I got a small LED keychain torch from the supermarket for around $5. It is important not to touch the eggs because they can addle.

I'm kicking myself I didn't say anything when I was there yesterday. I have rung them today, the guy I spoke to said he only found out today that they live a short life and die a slow painful death(YEH RIGHT). When I asked him if he was going take them off the shop floor, he replied NO. This guy had a bad attitude and didn't seem to care at all. Now I'm so angry I don't know what to do.
