I'm so glad you have re-opened this topic Kaz I'm so fascinated with Dusty the duster and so amazed at how fast those feathers are growing. Have you trimmed the mask feathers or is that how they're growing naturally?(if that makes sense)

My club needs more members. There are about a dozen people at our club, mostly beginners at the moment. My club is very friendly, welcoming and were extremely generous to me when I joined up. I'd love to see some demonstrations, crop needling, A.I, that kind of thing. Talks from breeders, avian vets etc. Some aviary visits are in the pipeline for next year,which I am really looking forward to. I have an idea for a family and friends trivia night.

Pair #1 Fallow hen and split fallow cock. Unfortunately their 3 fertile eggs were all dead in shell. In cages with babies, I do like Finnie and put layers of newspaper over the grate so they can access all the seed on the floor also for their little feet. Other cages I have the grate on top with newspaper in the tray below.

Hi. If the bird is a double factor spangle, a baby will have no visible iris ring (full black eyes). The other varieties like dark eye clear will be difficult to tell.
