I was shocked to see a Melbourne pet shop selling 'Mop' budgies. It's really sad to think someone could buy these little budgies only to drop dead within a short time, and for $80 each, I'm lost for words. This pet shop also had a glass fish tank full of 'hand tame baby' budgies and cockatiels for sale. All birds had their wings clipped and half the budgies weren't babies at all. On a positive note, the shop is very clean, the cages are spotless and most of the animals look well cared for. -
Sounds like you've got a yellow face albino also known as a creamino.

Very interesting bird. On his right side,the white feathers between his cheek patch and beak are they abnormally coloured also? And are the blue feathers only on his right side?

Great topic Kaz. So much bad advice out there. These are quotes from a forum. Also, what's really sad, is people that own sick or injured birds and refuse to take them to an avian vet even a normal vet.
