Mutation Offsprings
Yes that is true, both of the males of each pair are very dominant and never let other males go near the hen's, so it should be accurate enough with the genes,

What part offended you, just incase you didnt understand the meaning fully, i meant that some people who have no compassion or care whatsoever would let it die rather then taking it to the vet, just so they can save money, and when i mean a birds health is priceless, it means you cant put a price on a bird's health..., even if one of my budgie's was sick or in some case of injury and it costed say $500 i would still pay it, as i couldnt live with myself if i let it die- Mutation Offsprings
I just walked outside earlier to check my box's, and my Type 2 yellow face opaline cobalt hen has layed an egg with the double factor spangle outside the nest box guarding it....so im a happy camper :D:D:D:D:D:D- Current Babies
Hope she takes after her uncles a little Pearce Dumb dumber and nieces Oh my goodness! i cannot get over the 3rd picture, where on earth did u get such a beautiful pair of birds!!! best pair of budgie's i have ever seen!!- Spangle To Spangle Pairing
They all look beautiful Kaz, any particular pair you got that you envy the most? color/mutation wise- Funny Noise When Drinking .
Hahahaha, aww well i think its a great routine... as for attacking her mirror on the way to eat, she may have thought another budgie was in her way of making it to the seed dish, so she's tryed to barge the reflection off the perch haha- Mutation Offsprings
Thank you, look forward to seeing the how the chicks turn out, once some of them hatch ill do a daily pictorial update, so we can see how the outcome was with the color's and mutation's you have provided- Pearce's Budgerigar Blog
I am with you Pearce. The game for "men in boy-sized shorts and jersey designs from the 70's" is not a gmae for real men. AFL is more for the ladies as I see it - good looking men prancing up and down and jumping around a lot. The Swans play a more league-centred style, with emphasis on tackling, and look how well that is going now. I prefer League over Union, Union over Aerial Ping Pong, Aerial Ping Pong over the A-League. BudgieBuyer09 , if you are out there I am sure you would have an opinion on this. Well, i prefer union over all of the above....and the barclays premier league, as for AFL, it was a great game back a few decades, but its more for the women now, like you said, rugby is getting too overrated, rules are changing much too often and its not as physical as it used to be...- Skateboarding Budgies
LOL!!! ahahahaha the piano one with the albino singing to it omg that was hilarious..- Mutation Offsprings
Oh cool, im looking forward to the albino and the single factor grey cock's offspring's, theirs not 1 bird in my aviary that is the same color so its a bit of everything- Mutation Offsprings
okay, here is a few breeding pair's of mine that i would like some info on what the offspring will be PAIR #1 ...Male = left ...female = right PAIR #2 ... Yellow = male and the other yellowface is a female PAIR #3 Male = left ...Female = right What are the % chances of a possible offspring color on each pair?? all info is muchly appreciated- Budgie's With Grassparrot's?
i blame the petshop in newcastle, pissed me off how he said they were 2 breeding pair's when theirs 3 males and 1 female...and he said they were semi tame, when their as wild as anything....thats when i learnt never buy from pet shops thank you. much appreciated...anywhere in the hunter/newcastle region is fine, no further then gosford and no further then newcastle- Budgie's With Grassparrot's?
i would, but like i said, i got no where to put them, my aviary's are full at the moment, they were originally with 3 pairs of tiel's, but they've all got nests (1 nest is inside now being handreared) so i had to take the grassy's out of their and put them in my quarantine cage for the time being, so i have no spare aviary, or nothing....its getting hard lol- Budgie's With Grassparrot's?
ive decided to leave them out of the aviary, my hen has a nest of fertile egg's....(the other 4 hen's nests were infertile and 2 of the hen's were first timer's so they cracked the egg's being nervous) so anyways ill keep them out and find a way to get rid of them, silly me payed $180 for the 4 of them thinking they would breed, and only 1 is female(dark colored) and the other colored ones are males....so yer- Budgie's With Grassparrot's?
Then NO it is ill have to find a way to sell them somehow...- Budgie's With Grassparrot's?
10ft long, 6 ft wide, plenty of perch space in the breeding/shelter room and 6ft perches going from the front of the aviary to the back wall, one higher and about 10 cm behind the other one....plenty of perch space.... and their's 1 pair of button quail down the bottom- Budgie's With Grassparrot's?
I'm not exactly certain just yet, i need more convincing.- Bird Not 100%
Ooooo i never knew that! thanks heaps mate, first thing tomorrow morning ill write this out on paper and go in my aviary and check every tag- My Budgies
Fantastic, the 5th picture going downwards on the first line is a fantastic color...as well as the dark green lime color, you have beautiful birds- Bird Not 100%
well here's something new to me, can someone inform me on what color rings on their leg's mean??- Budgie's With Grassparrot's?
indeed i do, heres the picture, they are very quiet and friendly....i just dont know how the budgie's will react, cause i cant keep them in this cage much longer, no one wants them, they arent much bigger then a budgie, except their tail is a tad bit longer- Infected Foot
Vet costs: $150. She has 2cm of leg left, the vet cut it above the joint. Thats the same as my DF dom pied PEGLEG. She will learn to use the stump as a prop to balance like he does. The price you were charged was very low considering...your vet did right by you Indeed, some people who are cruel would let it die and save $130 by buying another one for $20...like i always say, a bird's health is priceless- Bird Not 100%
Ahhh u = YOU beat me to it jimmy lol, was going to suggest a lamp, and i almost forgot... to the forum paul, its a late welcome but it'll do- Bird Not 100%
i wouldnt go putting another bird with him. just incase....let him get better and after a few week's let us know how he's going and then think of another mate for him - Infected Foot
