Yep MD2 your right..... If I am understanding all this right, I am thinking... as this is my first time to cabinet breed, and I don't know the parents of my birds, that I will learn more about my birds from this season - regardless of the colour outcome...I mean... that if I do pair up certain pairs I will know that the greens are split for blue ect...? EG: if I were to pair J.T - Normal Green and Grace - Normal Gray - from thier offspring I will know if they are split for anything...? I hope this makes sense... Sorry guys but I am struggling with this mutation thing...........

Mattdog2......don't give up ....I'm really new at all this but I do know that I have seen you on these forums with a lot of knowledge and compassion....My set up will be just about the same as GB's...you can do it.... I know that I have no experience yet... and what I say kind of means squat, but without knowing it you have helped me heaps just by reading what you have to say.... Give it another shot with cabinet breeding???
