Thanks again.. :offtopic: This is a picture of the bush I out in if anyone can tell me what it is......... The bit I put in did not have the red floewers.......just the branches.. Thanks Anne

Help!
Yesterday afternoon I decided to put a branch of Wattle in my avairy......yes... without reading the FAQ's on poisonious plants.....I removed it in the early hours of this morning when I read you couldn't put them with your budgies, the plant was in there for about 6 hours.......when I removed the plant my baby J.T's beak was bleeding....what have I done? are they all going to die? I have cleaned up J.T with just warm water and put him inside for the day, I have to go to work as there are only 2 of us there today, it's a Public holiday in QLD......i will call the vet as soon as i get home....maybe J.T has hurt his beak somehow else?

Members Black Eyed Self Budgies,
Elly, Lacey seems to fit the first description of a Black eyed self - with iris ring, not a Dark eyed clear...I am very new at all this so I could be way off the mark!!

What Mutation Are They?
Thank you all so much for your time...... I will get a clearer picture of Lacey and Droopy Loo Loo and Austin and post as soon as I can... I was told once that Austin (the last one) was a double factor?? I can't wait till I can look at a bird and tell what it is.....Budgies seem to be the most confusing bird breed when it comes to mutations..... Thanks again, that's awesome!

What Mutation Are They?
How do you know the Spangle is Split to Rec. Pied? The spot on the back of the head is very common in the spangles so it doesn't denote that they are split like on a normal. 4. What color are the eyes are they red or black? 5. I agree expect it would be a Clearflight Dominant Pied 7. Would need a better picture of the bird with better lighting and no flash, what color are the eyes? 6. Would be a Lutino, he has a pink cere still and I assume red eyes too correct? Thanks to everyone for helping .... Elly, Bird no: 4's eyes are black Bird no: 7's eyes are black Bird no: 6's eyes are black Many thanks

What Mutation Are They?
Hello, Can you help with the mutation of a few of my birds please? These are some of the one's I didn't loose..... The others are still in quarantine for another week so I will do them another time..... 1. This beautiful boys name is " J.T" This ladies name is Grace. This ones name is Boo, I am really curious about this man as he has no black stripes at all on his wings, they are just a darker blue, he has a patch of white on the back of his head, he is very hard to photograph as he won't keep still!! The below photo is the same boy as above....I tried to get the patch on his head...sorry not very clear...HE IS VERY FLIGHTY. This is Lacey, front and back.... This is Cindy This old man is Budda...I think he is old...I rescued him because they were just going to let him go... The Blue one at the back is Alice and she has a white patch one the back of her head also. The one in front is " droopy loo loo" she tends to droop her head down and sleep a lot.... And this Austin...(was Angel for 2 years til I was told that she was a he!!) Thank in advance for those that can help me.... Anne.

Hello Everyone
Hello everyone, I joined a few months ago, but haven't formally introduced myself. My name is Anne I live in Brisbane with my husband 2 kids 15 budgies 2 dogs and 1 cat. Anyway it's all good now I have purchased more beautiful birds and I am looking forward to learning heaps and getting to know you all. Anne I have posted a picture of my baby "bushies"...I will post more photo's on the forum about mutations and hopefully you guy's can help me. Bye for now...
