wow you are so lucky! I've never seen birds like that around here. I guess you only get those in Australia.. or my town is definetly in the middle of nowhere lol we only have 2 petshops and they never have birds like that! But I still love the cute birds I got from them, nothing fancy but full of personality and just beautiful

So I got two new cuties yesterday. My mom goes to the "big cage" and asks where the new birds are and I told her they were in their quarantine cages.. then she rolled her eyes and I'm like: " -sigh- .. mom I already told you how important quarantine is, so even if you look at me like I'm some crazy weird girl from another planet my birds are still going through their quarantine.. " and then she got mad at me lol

Emma I know this is off topic but I got a few questions about your camera.. I love photography myself but I've never owned a digital camera in my life.. all I've ever used is the SLR camera at my school when I was studying photography in high school and it wasn't digital either and all we could take was black and white photos which I love too. But now all I can use is my camera phone which takes very low quality pictures! So I've been looking for a good camera that isn't so expensive.. and it looks like yours is a very good one. You said you own a Canon Powershot A610.. How many megapixels? what about Zoom? and what's the shutter speed? did you buy any extra lenses? And I agree with you.. your composition is very good composition skills and a good camera equals beautiful pictures

Yes I've bred before but all I had was normal greens and blues.. where I lived it was all there was but now that I've done some more research and saw all the color possibilities well I'd like to try and breed for as many colors as I can that's why I asked which pairings would be good Because I know I can just experiment and get surprised everytime.. but I'll also like to know a little of what I can get if I pair who with who..All my birds have been through their quarantines and yes they live all together. I know how important quarantine is even though my family think I'm crazy lolMy flock is still very young and they are all under 7 months so that's why i'm waiting for a whole year to make sure they are of age, and I only want pet types since I don't even think there's such thing as bird shows here where I live.. I'm only in this for the love of the birds not for the money :)I already have found good homes for some of the chicks that will come next year lol since I can't keep all of them.. so yea everyone is pretty excited and looking forward for me to start breeding again! I thought the albino was a hen?

Yes I have a cat, but she is an outside cat and she only comes in when we let her and of course I would never let my birds near her! She is a pretty good hunter.. and I also have a dog inside but she will never harm my birds If I'm there.. and the birds never come out unless I'm supervising. So as far as that goes my birds are safe from my cat and my dogs
