Goldenface Or Yf Type Ⅱ?
Yellowface type 2 grey greywing. The green part of the body is too patchy looking to be a straight grey-green.

Chick Seems Blue? Pics
sorry too soon to tell you will know for sure around the three week mark. Dad looks to be green so you will only get blue birds if he is split for it. http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index....showtopic=16325 Link to resizing pictures already uploaded on photobucket.

Tweetaville Breeding
Yes she has the best throat marks of all the babies from the first clutch. Cage 1 has two babies and Cage 2 has one.

Skittles' Colouring
looking at the strength of colour of the grey I would think Full body greywing would match better. (with opaline still) http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index....showtopic=12634

Could I Get Yellow-face Babies?
There are a few things that could be happening here. 1) The bub hasn't started to get any showing of the bleed yet each bird is different and sometimes the green shows up slowly. 2) the dad is in fact a type 1 SKY blue and the green tint you see is simply the green sheen that can appear in skyblues. 3) the Dad could be hiding the type 1 gene ( he has one for type 1 and one for type 2 and so he appears type 2) and he has given that hidden gene to the offspring. What is the colour on the dad's wings and what is the colour on the older sister's wings?

Could I Get Yellow-face Babies?
Kaz is correct, a type 2 bird will only give the type 2 gene to the offspring. They will look like a type 1 when young before the first moult when the bleed through starts to happen.

Greywing?
Agree with norm. **Liv** - it depends on why you are breeding. If it is simply to enjoy your flock and the joy of breeding then you can pick what ever mix you want (or let the birds pick) many show breeders don't like to put certain colours or mutations together for many reasons, such as the combination of the gene removes some of the features needed for that mutation in the show ring. (opaline spangle)

Skittles' Colouring
I can never remember the mix for a rainbow but I think your right.

What Mutation Is Peepers?
I agree with all the others have said. Many people thing that the clipped wing means it's safe for the bird to be outside but it's still better to be safe.

New Members Of Our Family
The pied gene could be affecting that, as the 'green bleeding' start in the chest area but he is only yellow if you knew him as a baby the body would have been more white/cream. He chicks will help to confirm the type 1 or type 2 bit.

Skittles' Colouring
you did well. Yf Oplaine clearwing.

Tweetaville Breeding
Sorry Daz I was busy with family things this weekend :budgiedance: but I wasn't expecting to be ready for the Wynnum show. I'll have more with the correct rings this time and hopefully a cage or two 'borrowed' for the feb show  I told family of the "Santa" name and was suggested Kris or Kringle as a replacement for Santa.

Cutting Wings
Sorry I didn't look at your location, you can check with the vet to see if they know of a closer avian vet. Or look for a good pet shop, many have clipped birds in the cage and are sometimes able to show you how.

Humpty Dumpty
Well I like Humpty Dumpty my self (even if he wasn't broken in the end :budgiedance:)

Tweetaville Breeding
Santa it is :fear
-
Cutting Wings
We feel for the safety and well being of the bird that it is best to be shown how to do this in real life with an avian vet.

Tweetaville Breeding
Yes he is a good one :fear I'm hoping for more like him in the next lot.
