I knew what you were planing what I meant, were yout hinking of cutting out the back of the hanging cage you already have on the shed to add it into the disign?
  8. *Nerwen* replied to Daz's topic in Aviaries
very cool. Are you planing of adding the small one you have to the bigger one or keep it separate as maybe a baby/sale pen?

well i'm not using chicken wire I'm be using the good bird squre wire, the smallest I can get. Lin- you know i didn't even think of the budgies that would keep it down (Laughing out loud), well at lest I know i wouldn't have to worry too much about around the cage too, mine thing the things on the out side must bet he best bits. I still think cerment is for the best, you can't disinfect ground soil.
  10. Yay I was right see daz your not the only one that was too short for that joke. I was thinking the albino had to be what lemonz n limes was talking about, but didn't wish to say in case I was wrong Gee I want to steal some of your birdes Adam

OOhh Lin thank you I'm reading all I can becuase i really want to focus on getting my avary built in the new year, and I have alway wanted cerment floors, since I know it's easy to clean and keep disease out. But all I could hear about was sand or dirt I thought cerment would be best to keep it neater and keep weeds taking over (i can get weed the hight of me in the back yard >_< ) Now I know I can add sand to the top of that to might it look more nature. Thankies.

oh old topic Sorry I never got back to answer this, it was the small square bird wire, from in think 1/4 size to 1/2 If I remember correctly now. It's at bunnings that I saw it, just head down to the wire area (for me that is outside at the back of the plants) and they are all together there. I have an urging of late to get my outside avary built, i think becuase i have talked bout it for i think almost a year or so now and I'm just itching to get some more birdies. Which means I need the room. That's how I found this again, been looking for topics on building them, what is best on the ground the easest to clean and keep clean. all of that jazz. I wish I could convert the shed i have out the back it's in the perfect spot and all but i can't so i have to settle for building next to it.)
  13. Here: I'm sure it can't be a black face, since Bea knows about these guys, but the face it has a green face means it might be real!!! For us unbelievers still
  14. OMG Bea I have seen a budgie with a green face, but it was one of the rare blackface budgies. Daz it's ont he front cover of the muations book. Will check if I have scaned that picture if so I'll show you.
  15. Yes it is rare and only show budgie have produce this sort of chick. Ahh I wasn't sure about the offsprings. But it makes sence they can carry the propblem just like the parents did.
  16. fix it for you you put the seond img in the middle of the fist one That look super cool. I'm sure they are loving it to bits.
  17. well you have two days to work on it
  18. Aww dratz, well at lest the bird is safe from others until then.
  19. it should be pinky like a young male
  20. YAY I'll be waiting for the picture, even if you do get a yellow face pied. I did say it was a silly question, just wanted to cover all bases
  21. well then he worked off that treat :dbb1:
  22. Violet and cobalts I think is the outcome, no clearwings unless baby is split for it. I'm not sure aobut the leg, the guys need the balance to stand on the hen while mating, but budgies are gooda t finding ways around things like that. If you really wish to, trying them might be an idea. As long as the ingury can not be pasted on to babies, but if i remember correctly it happened in the nest when mom sat on him. Right?
  23. Yep :dbb1: I just thought of something and i think it is a silly question but I just have to ask it but are you sure it was a budgie and not another bird in the same cage?
  24. Well with the new news of a large baby being a sign I would keep a close eye on this one and if it does turn out to be a duster, make a note about the parents giving this sort of offspring.
  25. I tihnk they are all goldenfaces, your mom looks like she is one as well.
