Opinions On Mutation
SInce this is Nev asking I thinking it isn't a normal mutation. My first thought Clearbody as well. The body looks quite dilute but the markings aren't....could he have a darkwing modifier?

I Was Wondering About Color?
Not all of them Only this one: DAD - Green Normal Split Opaline MUM - Yellowface blue Opaline Possible Outcomes: Green normal split blue Green normals split yellowface blue Green Opaline All males will be split Opaline The fact you have mention a teal look to the bird and the look of this one which should be around the 4 month mark and so starting to moult makes we wonder if the Dad is also split for Blue giving you some yellowface babies but the mum looks like a type 1 not a type 2 (which bleeds colour into the body) Anyone else with thoughts?

I Was Wondering About Color?
pics of mum and dad would be good too. but you state they are both normal so Amelia, Pickles (i think the first one shown after her) and the one that stand out in clutch three are all girls. This because they are Opaline and this is sex-linked gene. In this pair it can only mean the dad is split (carrying) the gene in his genetic makeup. Opaline is also why it appears her wings have less markings. I can't see the different tails you are taking about in the pictures. Opaline will have different tails to normals. The brown you are seeing would be from having baby feathers still, these are not as bright as adult ones. Looking at the chicks i think you either have a dark factor in one of the parents,o a dark green or a cobalt, as the mix of green and blue is normally seen in dark green babies not light green ones. again would really love pictures of mum and dad.

Possible Outcome
i understood it Splat Only the males will be split cinn and Opaline unless the cock surprises you and is split for the genes. As Splat said you will only get blues if the cock is split. All hens will be TCB or Ino depending on the genes that make up your TCB cock. Depends on the type of pied your hen is. Dominant pied - %50 chance. Recessive pied - All chicks will be split.

What Will The Babies Be Like Please?
All will be split, the hen only has one X chromosome to give to her sons which will have the Opaline gene on it.

Coco And Charlie - Round Two - Breeding Journal
I think Chick 3 is a lutino. The yellow is much darker than normal for a creamino.

Regurgitating Or Vomiting?help!
By what you described she was vomiting keep and eye on her and if you have a small cage i would move her to that and put a heat lamp on the corner. Also replace all the seed in the cage and water.

My Flock And Babies
Dean is correct. Lovely birds. Ma is a double factor spangle - which is why all the chicks are spangle.

Psychic Or Skeptic?
Great stories Kaz, I also love reading about experiences like yours. I believe but i'm also aware that i don't like the idea of being contact by spirits. but i have once, my sisters place is an old cane farms house and the spirit there has never done anything other than walk half the room and stop...... I had hear all the stories of the steps and it always took a while for me to sleep while staying there wondering if they would start. One day alone in the house I hear them. It wasn't a trick, as since the house is old you can't walk anywhere with out floors making noise and the steps start in the middle of the room and sound more hollow than normal footsteps. My cousin was visited by my Nanna in her bed, she sat on the end and told her it was all going to be okay. My Aunt saw my grandfather walk into his house the day after he died. He stood at the doorway for a moment then turned and left. she believes he was only looking for my grandmother who was still in hospital at the time. Many people have had dealing with a ghost of a Lady at my work. An old building in the middle of Brisbane. I love reading about it, but the thought of seeing something like that myself gives me chills up my spine.

What Is This Plant
thanks GB, wouldn't even know my closest plant place lol. come to think of it my folks might know the answer

What Is This Plant
'm not a plant person at all. i learnt to know a few native plants for my birds to chew to sheds but i really don't have a clue. Since being in my new house the gardens were already set up with plants. Some we removed straight away, a mango tree inches from a garden rock wall and only about 2 meters from the house (crazy) I want to know if one tree is safe for the birds or not. close up close up In Garden
