New Baby Budgie
how old is this one that is seemingly not being feed? How long have they been out of the box? Have you a small cardboard box or something like it in the cage for the young ones to hide in if picked on. I think what you are saying as 'standing' is they are bullying the little ones, either away from the food or just for room.

Normal Budgie + English Budgie
Yes Nyos she is. Thank Terri I hadn't thought of the show type budies that are kept as pets, even knowing Julie and her two big boys (Laughing out loud).

What Mutation?
I believe they can get the suffusion of colour like a DF spangle.

What Mutation?
sorry lovely (Laughing out loud) The eyes look redish so there might be something of an ino even or maybe a rec. pied. okay just found this: so she isn't ino (Laughing out loud). I think she might be DEC.

What Mutation?

New Pictures Of All My Birds
Wow all these answes Lovely- glad you and Hailey enjoyed You and Kirby are right with the twin piccie. The spots are the best way but Squeaker does have a bigger head and his cere is still lighter than Marines at the moment. The pie- (Laughing out loud) the 'fruit salad' look is how I came to name Tootie ( Tootie-Fruity is her full name) Pixie- I can't believe this is the first time you have seen them grown up They are all big kids now.

How Many Budgies....
most natives are safe for budges and gums are good. If your getting it from a park or anywhere in the wild give them a good clean and leave in the sun to dry before putting in the cage. If it's just fallen they are fine to use, you can tell if the branch has been on the ground for a while.

Is Oscar Split To Pied?
Yep the spot means he is a dominant pied not split for pied. There are some birds that can look totally normal as in no pied spots on the body and wings fully marked but have a head spot. Lovely Merlin is an example of one. It seems many Spangles get this pied gene as well so I'm starting to believe they are link or closly links on the dna strand.

Paired 2 Of My Birds Off
Since both of them look to only a Single Factor Pied they both should have one pied gene and one normal gene. Some of the babies can get the normal gene from both parents.

My Avairy
:ausb: I've finished at last the sign for my avairy. I've very pleased with it, having tryed to mix in all my fave mutations/colours in bugies on one bird I thought I did well (Laughing out loud). Of cause I had to have a spangle :rip: And went for a YF1 rather than 2 to give a feel for a normal blue bird as well. No cheek patch to give a feel for Inos and the bars and cere match a grown up but the eye is a baby black one and/or recessive pied, DEC eyes. So what do you all think?

Hand Taming
Once they babies have the fluff all over their body it's safe to handle them, this between one and two weeks. Keep the handling short when they are young. After two weeks is when I started handling them every day at least once for around 10 mins before returning them back to mum.
