if you look closly at the male whiteface blue you can see some blacky/brown spots on the cere. I can't recall if all of them had that or just one gender.

aww that sounds great Dingo I'm not sure what you could use to help with infection in the bub. Maybe a light wash in lukewarm water?? ( as in get a cotton ball and brush it over the scab once or twice for a few days) It's nice when you have a male with a sex-link trait makes it easy to pick the genders.

females can also get a slight blue tint to there cere as well.

okay how long have you had her? 7 or more weeks is a long time for no eggs. Removal of the box for about a week and readding it might help her to check it out this time, but if nothing after another month give them a longer break.

Lutino can carry the blue gene they need the two blue gene to show as white like a normal would need the two blue gene before looking blue rather than green.
