Multiple Fathers?
As Karen said her clutch will have two farthers if she does end up mating with both. This means she is on the end of her cicle and may lose the cere to a white/blue colour part way through. I would try to stop her at one clutch. If she is interesting in the nest box and males she will lay some eggs soon. They will all be Lutino ulness the male is split for blue. If he is then you will get a mix of Albinos and Lutinos.

New Member + New Budgie
I think I would die with out the internet these days :offtopic: I'm glad Pancake is settling well and trainis his slave correctly. (sorry small joke about the members here only being a servant to their budgie wishes) As to what type he is... well he is a hard one. At first sight he looks like a recessive pied. But some Double Factor dominant pieds can look like this as well. The only way to tell is when they grown up a bit more ( around the age of 6 months) when the iris ring starts to appear. ( a white circle in the eye.) Recessive do not get this while dominants do. something about the placment of the wing markings ( up high and all close together) makes me think he could be a dominant pied.

New Budgie
For the first while the babies are feed on their back, but no they don't have to stay that way, most other times when it's not feed time they are on their bellies. So you see any movement at all? Flapping of wings turning in circles? any noise at all?

Connie
I should add the rest of the story. Connie lives with a friend of mine. I get to see her often which is great If you look at the banner on the top of the page that is her on the right as a baby.

What Are These Babies?
Tweety is like you state a lutino. This means Dad is carrying the ino gene. Tweety could be either a boy or a girl. Poppy looks to be a blue normal. If s/he is that means both of the birds carry the blue gene.

Regurgitation Or Vomiting?
Vomiting is a fast and voilent shaking of the head where seed fly around the cage an ends up on the to of the head, also giving them a 'sweating' look as the feathers a plasted down. Regurgitating is a gentle action where they birs only bobs up and down and trys to pass the food to a toy or you. Sometimes when it's not accecpted they will re-eat it. Sounds like Scooter was sick. Has he done this again? Are there other signs of illness?

Just To Say Hello
Good luck Nodders. silver- feel free to make your own thread you can get more answers that way. We would need to know the colouring of his/her cere to be able to tell you plus the age of the bird. Lutino males have a bright pink cere all their lives while the hens when young have a bluish/white cere which turns to a crusty brown when older.

A Question About Eggs
If i remember some I read correct the fact she is laying means she is firtile. You could try them again to see if you have any luck. Are they big show type birds? if so their feathers might be causing problems. Most breeder of these bird pluck or trim the feathers around their vent areas for a better chance. How old is he? does it look to be in condition? (dark blue cere).

What Are These Sweet Babies
yes that is correct. the only way to find that out for sure if to get a male offspring that is opaline.
-
What Are These Sweet Babies
Hens can't be split for opaline (or any other sex-linked genes) Your are right about the fact your hen is split for blue. The yellowface gene is dominant over the normal blue gene. Shadrach is a dominant pied yellowface Meshach is a opaline green. Abednego is a dominant pied green In this case it's the pied gene that has removed the markings in the 'v' area and this isn't connect to being opaline.
