Normal/Greywing to Normal will give 50% Splits and 50% normals but you won't know which is which until you test pair them.. Not good. Some times think of your dominants as normals. Such as Spangles, Dominant Pieds and Yellowfaces. Look at them as a normal and you should go okay.

Giving them an option is the best way.

It should have protection. If someone was to tie a wire cable around that beam to use as a washing line, it could cut into the cables and cause a big problem - Electrocution or fire. I'd nail a piece of 25 x 20 mm hardwood strip on both sides of the wire to prevent this.

Place a piece of clear plastic under the door / access that way you can look with out them geting out.

Good question... The answer would be no but can wood shaving carry bacteria? The sand carries dead animals (sea creatures, shells and such) when it becomes wet the bacteria can occur. This was the touble with Henry's.
