Jeddo, the above is what Dean_NZ posted for you and you came back with.... I made the effort to give you those combinations and respective percentages and you then come back and say it is too much. GB has given you the same as what Dean did, it is just worded differently. you did a great job to rip it wont go to waste as i have a very same pairing  and its great to see detailed possable out comes

Jetrick's Breeding Journal
i also find it sad people stoop to this level just to try and become the best if your a show breeder you are part of that sence like it or not as its everywhere but as you said you dont have to be part of it honesty always pays and weather they know it or not these types are not as shifty as they think and usually trip over their own lies eventually getting themselves a bad reputation paranoya is totally diffrent to being careful dave and their are so many good birds out their its kind of really stupid things like this do go one ' it all comes down to bloodlines and labbles really some birds know matter how badley breed if from a certain name are sort after rediculous if you as me as macka stated in another post most birds are not even barry mores their 25 percent this 50 percent that blended with barry more very few studs actually have true 100 percent breed birds as their chasing new out crosses all the time i dont think you understood what i ment ,if i was to cull birds well their anyones game ,...however if terry came and helped me cull and culled out my best cock even when i questioned him he had a good reason remembering im just beginning then thats another kettle of fish why its important to know what you want in a bird so you can learn to cull your own stock anymistakes are then just that mistakes and you learn from it but the rule pretty much is know what your breeding for and cull your own stock go to pleanty of shows take loads of pics and compair them to you birds if the birds are way bellow that of the ubcs you photo graft or young birds what ever then put aside in cull cage for three more months if no improvement or you dont drool everytime you look at certain birds for one reason or another then you culled right if you keep eye abird then just keep breed it and if nothing comes good cull chicks and it (works for me ) all birds need improving even the best of the best thats why its a challenge and a hobby that stays competitive a excellent bird may toss out c r a p and a c r a p bird give you your best chicks ever its about maintaining a understandingof the birds and whats prezented on the bench you could work 10 years to get to a perfict look only for the style to change  why its best to breed for what you like as its a hobby after all more than a compitition or is it ???? it is for me anyway ,im not that competitive though you can never become something that which your are not ,so i dont think you need to worry dave nor do i

Wow... I know that people can be paranoid, but really, if itis someone you trust, then the other bits of advice are not needed. I know there are bad people out there and I know that not everyone can be trusted, but if I did not trust someone, I would not let them help me with a cull at all. im not paranoid dave im just going on some very solid evidence i have gathered over the time ive been in the bird game (seeing and hearing things i maybe shouldn't have here and their ) and some advice i was given by not one but at least 15 other bird breeders from all over vic their are some people i trust myself that i know are not trusted when it comes to culling peoples birds lets just say some people cant help themselves others have other reasons to want to help you out and its not actually to help sometimes they dont even help you to actually take your birds but to make sure you dont get as good as them it is a very competitive hobby so im finding out to the point where i dont actually see how it can be that fun once past a certain level

Jetrick's Breeding Journal
i honestly dont know how you do it how many cabinets do you have and how many did you put up first rounds your out comes have seemed good how many chicks do you think are of excellent quality can you see any that stand out yet ??? Hi GB, Good to hear from you! Truthfully it has turned into a lot of work but also very rewarding. I started my first round in March with 20 pairs in all wire breeding cages. Of those 15 pairs ultimately had young ones totalling 70 in all with one or two deaths, leaving me 61 chicks now in weaning cages. That was 70 chicks from 105 eggs being laid, which I am told was good. In the second round there are 16 pairs with 14 now with chicks and the other 2 pairs with eggs to hatch. As for the the quality I believe I have a long way to go, and possibly have 5-6 stand out youngsters. I have a number of young ones that will be useful to me next year as they are split Lacewing and I would like to work with that variety. My Lutino chicks are looking good also. I'm probably not the best judge and look forward to having someone skilled at culling go through my flock and telling me who to let go. That will be hard to do as I like them all! Cheers Patrick be very careful its someone you trust and never ever let the person culling take your culls to get rid of for you keep them seperate and get rid of them yourself and dont tell them where a bit of advice i was giving sometimes people just are not what they seem no matter how much we want to believe they are

Winter
It is considered by most here in Australia that APRIL is the budgies main moult.....or so I am told and have witnessed. if a bird is breeding it will hold off on molting so if you get them after ther summer moult in dec jan middle of feb their in good condition and as breeding wont mould untill raised their clutch way i do it chicks are out may first week so not really putting moult off to long and they dont get breed again after that one round
-
4 Chicks
wow their beautiful are you happy you should be happy if the first one has tinge of yellow on its tail and wings it will moult out with a yellow face and before anyone says it wont IT MAY may not as my birds did same but the yellow feathers didnt come on face till moult and not all at once the white ones were slowly replaced with yellow ones (this may not happen but its possable) keep that in mind oh what beautiful chicks

`i also are learning and when i first started breeding again 4 years ago pets i only breed my birds end of feb id pair eggs march first week of hatch april out may then rest so one round per pair then end of july pair ( different pairs) august eggs hatch september out october also i staggered pairs so i put them down when first eggs were being layed in august so that their eggs were layed at end of august first week sept chicks leaving nests november latest for these staggered rounds i really liked that way of doing things and will stick to it i tryed diffrent breeding times last year and up to date a few pairs here and their i found in summer alot of fm chicks and dead in shell from to hot and well last chicks i breed feb hatched all caught colds and i almost lost them all no prob with fm though and well june hatched chicks seem fine so far well half of them but honestly i think the birds preform better at the times i first mentioned (thats for out door breeding no breeding room and i will be going back to these dates one round in feb pair march eggs april hatch may chicks out then aug sept oct and nov chicks out then thats it

Green Beans
make sure you wash the beans if you dont want to put seed on top i slice mine in half so they can see the bean but to be honest its been long time since i gave beans they cost so much for a few birds fine but for almost 100 i cut most the vegies in half for my birds

6 New Chicks
okay so today im not happy with the younger of the three chicks their seems to be something up for 8 days i think the oldest chick should look bigger maybe its just me as their in different nests its hard to compare but i dont want to put chicks near each other in case something is wrong with the last three today the oldest of the three was acting very odd it was shaking and sounded like it was in pain so i grabbed him out to see that he had only air in his crop no food i squeezed air out of crop and then checked his eyes to see they are not healthy looking to me i looked over other chicks and seems they are all turning red i dont think this is a good sign and so i rang a club member for advice he said to give extra food sourse like as in carrots and veg you know soft food to help mum have something to stimulate feeding he seems to think to try this before i decide something may be wrong with either of the feeders so i did this i will check them later tonight and also put some broline in the chicks eye see if this clears it up other wize if tomorrow chicks still getting air and looking sick i may put tripple c in water as it wont hurt if nothings wrong but may help if something wrong oh mabe i wont as im having trouble with the idea that i may get chicks that although come out fine may actually harbour something contained by the medication im thinking if they live the live if not it was for best of my flock i dont know both feeders look fine healthy but i know this doesn't mean anything if a desize is harbored will cheak them tomorrow better see what i think then could be nothing could of just been air in crop nothing more chick was very red though as others starting to look here is some pics them oldest chick all together can you see how red littles one is he should be at ringing stage but not i think their bit behind ???? anyone agree or is it in my head also the first three in order from oldest to youngest this time you can see mum stopped plucking at down thank goodness next hope she stops with this one also next also plucked around same area hope it stops , should can use my spray if need be so these three doing fine and very healthy also i took pics of mum and dad today dad looks better then first picture which is good sign their copping fine mum dad

Spangle Sky Blue Cinnamon Hen X Spangle Sky Blue/cinnamon
thankyou hopefully ill get a few like mum n dad if not better still trying to work the pairing thing out up but still every bird has faults and the ones that dont can genetically hold them so its really a mater of breed your own good from good and then again so on and so on then breed all your good to get nothing but so thats how i understand it but then i dont understand how to instill trats yet being my third round chicks since starting im not expecting winners just some nice hens i hope

Need A Mutation Prediction
the golden face chicks you achieve will all be single factor golden face if that helps this just means thy will be suffused over their entire body when fully grown their for will look green so you will need to take note of what colour they are around lower chest area as chicks feather and on their back near rump eg cobalt violet or sky blue this is a sky blue single factor golden face fully matured she looks normal green she is however sky blue her golden face sky blue son / rec pied (not all split rec pied chicks get the feather spot on back of head only difference between these birds is she has yellow wings and spangle markings he is nornal wings and not spangled bellow is her father and his grand father a golden face cobalt note the deeper emerald green colour and a single factor violet golden face hes a bronzy looking green hope this helps some
-
Spangle Sky Blue Cinnamon Hen X Spangle Sky Blue/cinnamon
your not doing to bad mate and i feel im doing okay i am just very picky so most my birds get culled very quickly from between comming out of nest i sell the worst then after their moult i sell anything that hasnt improved or sits lasy or is nipped or very small oe wings are not tight back lines not good im very very hard this will change when i actually have some nice hens to form my own stud with oh and if your a cock your out unless split to something i need eg albino /cin cocks all out again this will stop when i begin my true showing adventure for now its all about breeding good hens for myself i think two years before i really need to be keeping all chicks till a year old
