  5. yes it does i do know rens right and i was discussing that with the vet ioday that it could be as i just gathered all my stock birds and that i even had birds brought in to vic from wa i explained they were quarantined but that i only just put them all in the aviry together for first time 2 months ago so they were possibly still settling to eachother he seemed to think it was possible but not likely that was the cause of this and hes going to test my birds as i bring them in for me each time i bring out crosses in so that's good birds look 99 percent better today anyhow after some probos and veg theirs not as much sneezing either today fingers crossed

  12. thanks mate lol as for kids being understanding they still have their diggs at time eg if we didn't have thoughs stupid birds we could ..... or they tell people if they want my attention they have to practically grow feathers and sit in the flight but i know they know with out my birds i would not be who i am today their actually quiet calming in a stressful way but like i say to them when things get rough bird wize just cause they get a little stressful does not mean i should just give in as if i had of done that when you gave me greif when younger then we wouldnt have eachother in the way we do today my response from them is quiet plain and simple you cant relate us to your stupid birds mum its not the same ar well life goes on they are very good about it although i am grateful for that
  13. Yes G.B. I checked a couple off my birds (and got bitten for my trouble). It looks different from my dead bird in that their skin etc is still attached to beak but dead bird had a jagged "hole" not attached to skin on underside of beak. If that makes sense?yes makes sense well next time you get a dead bird even if it ages away and lets hope it is just check to see if they looked the same as the one you just got my other thing is check aviryfor anything at all he could of got hooked on in case as when birds died the tend to sink in places so.... all best darl it them allThank's a lot G.B. I hope I don't lose anymore either but I'd rather know what it was, than wonder.I've been following your other thread, but haven't posted because I don't show birds plus I'm not experienced enough to comment. I just hope your birds take a big upward bound and put all your worries to rest. Thanks heaps for taking an interest in others "minor" setbacks. Since I posted I remember them having a night fright thing a while ago. Couldn't see what set them off maybe my little fellow got hurt that night, I guess I'll never know. Cheer and good luck with your flock. thats possable i found one my little ones with a crushed chest yester day still alive just two big holes in him and his whole chest is crushed being a baby most probbly saved him my birds had big fright few nights ago 200am a big moggie it jumped up on cage i didnt relize my baby got grabbed untill next day i cheacked them all again $ i Bernadene and hes all okay so far no infection but as i said his whole chest is crushed together so....

  19. Well theres room down there for me to sleep there mate This is the corner where the attempted break in occurred ..........the upright pole had the wire undone from it and the wire pulled away for access.........now repaired and made less accessible. so how about some metal capping all along the edging kaz then weld the joins no getting in then and a old persons alarm the ones when the pins pulled they go off you could set a line across the fence to somewhere leding to access point when they pass they will trip the pin and wake the whole town put it a chest height so animals dont trip it
