well he wasnt svisuably sick 2 days ago. its over now.

Depends if both birds are fertile. 2)if your budgies were courting in the latter stage,how long till you reckon they lay a egg? Depends on the conditions. Post pictures of your breeding pair. 3)they had a big huge and NOISY party next door.you - 1 - go tell them politley to turn it down. 2 - you go and yell at them telling them to volume down. yes 3 - you call noise control 4)you have a egg-bound hen.what will you do if you thought there was vets around but there is none and town is 2 1/2 hours away. If it was egg bound I know its a serious condition so I would put the hospital cage in the car and get to the nearest vet. no matter where it is. 5)something went wrong with your cage.a cat got in and slept in the cage.what would you do? I would be very annoyed that I let it happen. Their is no way a cat should be able to get in the cage, if a cat can get in a bird can get out.

Dave I did not say I breed young birds I wait until 12 months like most people. Im just saying what I've seen. I breed birds from 12 months old because thats what most people do. some breed from 10 months but I have only heard of one time where people breed 12 week old babies, and that is on this topic.

the bird is warm. His vent is not dirty. He is eating fine and his crop is full. he is puffed up, weak and lethargic. I do not know what is causing it but he is wormed and has been given calcivet to the beak. Nothing more I can do except wait and see. Could be megabacteria or psittacosis.

do you think it is just as good if not better than coccivet Daz? Should I purchase megamix or coccivet?

I looked on rob marshalls website. He has Mega mix which is - MEGAMIX Natural health product to protect the flock during wet weather. Bowel cleanser for humid areas and mixed with Sulfa AVS to prevent Coccidiosis This as good as coccivet? its cheaper

The gum leaves were washed thoroughly and so was the cage. The cage I built myself. Their is a few holes where perches went etc, Ill get a picture for you.

okay but you isolated him for 45 days right? Some diseases are not visible until a bird gets stressed or is introduced into a new environment.

44 grams. Do worms have symptoms like this? I thought it just made the bird really itchy.
