My hen ... she plays. First thing in the morning she gets off her swing & goes right to a hanging toy she likes & bangs the beegeesus out of it. Clang Clang bang bang Whomp Whomp Clang ! She then does her rounds of the cage & beats up everything else in the cage that is a TOY. She touches all the toys & makes a considerable amount of noise. I couldn't care less about the noise. It's fun to watch her being so interested & goofy. She has such a great time doing this each & every day. Then .... she eats some seeds & pellets ... drinks some fresh water & goes back up to the swings where the Weebil is still sitting on his swing & watching all this action from the hen. Then the hen calmly feeds the Weebil. Like he is her little baby boy. It's the same routine every day. She baby's this guy & feeds him daily. First thing every morning. The Weebil does not play. At or with anything. I thought a few times I saw him touch some toys. But I think he was just brushing by them by accident. He touches NOTHING. I have tons of hanging toys & chewing toys & all sorts of interesting things for them both to enjoy. But the Weebil touches NOTHING. So ... do you have birds that are not players ? They don't touch toys you give them ? Are they more interested in interacting with the other birds you might have & forget about toys ? I am curious to see if this is a behaviour others have seen with their birds. Or perhaps ... my Weebil is too good to play ? Persnickity little Bug ! Nick

LMAO !!!!!!!!!! oh ya ... censor me for laughing insanely at this quote. We all say that to our mom's. About those balls .... my hen beats them up & wrecks them horribly. She loves them to death ! I have to buy new ones every other month. The Weebil ... not. He is too cool to play. He plays with nothing. I think my Weebil is brain damaged.

I'd have to say the blue & the violet/purple/blue ones .... that's why I have green & yellow birds. Duh !

Since this is your welcoming party I just thought I would give you a " heads up " .... any kind of cake would do. We aren't too fussy. Make it a LARGE-BIG type cake. There are many people here in BBC. Remember ... fresh baked. None of that store bought stuff that tastes like cardboard. You don't have to put sprinkles or make it all Martha Stewart or Nigella Lawson fancy with decorations & stuff ... just CAKE ! Again. Welcome. I'd love to see pictures of your flock too.

You don't like broccoli BecSta ? WHY ? Just cover it with melted cheese & chew it up. Don't put melted cheese on it for the boids though ! There is more vitamin c in broccoli then there is in oranges. It's really healthy & good for you. My bud's love their broccolli. They have a great time ripping it to shreds & tossing it here & there. Today they are shredding a huge chunk of raw coconut. They are so destructive & love destroying things .... I thought the coconut flesh would be great fun for them. They seem happy with making a mess of it. I doubt I will be happy cleaning up the mess later though. SIGH...... !

I told ya ... I told ya I was gonna get in trouble. Sheesh. My box was stolen today. The Garbage Collectors took it away when I went to find some food for me & my birds. Ya think they would have noticed the window I carefully cut in the side of the box & the lovely newspaper drapes I made. Sheeesh .. a mans castle is his Refreidgerator Box ya know. They just picked it up & squished it in the compactor like it was nothing. Good thing Weebil & Saucy Face was with me inside my coat lining when we were shoppin/beggin for food.

They look so odd when they are wet. She is a beauty. She even looks like an olive. She'd be great in a martini. But I still think she is planning a hostile takeover. You might need to call Bruce Willis & have him on hand just incase. Bruce is a tough guy & will stand up to Olive & keep her in her place.
