  6. lol... But... if she wont even use the icecream container, maybe she won't use any nest box either? Could you pop her eggs under another hen, move them into the other cage and see... you could then add her eggs to her 'new' nest box or the floor if she goes back there??? That way the eggs should stay warm if she stuffs around a bit???
  7. Could you try a clear plastic/perspex door... so there would be plenty of light getting in? Not sure if that would help or not?!?! Good luck and please keep us updated...
  8. Congratulations!!!!!!!! :bliss: Sounds great and I look forward to more steps ahead.

  20. Good Stuff!
  21. Cool, can't wait to see them. You could cut the longer one off so it fits... or you could even ditch it and get a natural branch... which is much better for their feet. Here is a link to safe natural branches if you're interested: SAFE WOOD.
  22. I have one very similar to this cage... and it houses two budgies very happily (with perches running from front to back): Bar spacing needs to be about 1.2cm or 1/2 inch. Good luck on your search and feel free to post more when you find them. We are happy to help.
  23. Still only 1 image visable :bluebudgie:
  24. Yah for you and your family :bluebudgie: . I'm sure he will be loved! Ernest looks very happy...
  25. A nice big cage... and it looks like they love it too. A suggestion if I may... the two wooden perches you have... one looks like it runs from front to back... the other digaonally. If it was my cage, I'd have them both running from front to back as this encourages them to fly back and forth, rather than run along the perch to get from one side to the other. Just my opinion. Also... do you have any more photos of Betty and Sophia. I'd love to see them. They look really pretty :bluebudgie:
