As of about 15 minutes ago we have another budgie. Dad saw her sitting in a tree in the backyard so we put the cats in the laundry then the dogs into the house then a cage with millet seed and water on the ground outside and she actully went in! Now we just need a name. Any thougts on colour/mutation or an estimate on how old she is would be much appreciated.

Hi Joey, Like maesie, I to read over your previous posts and I think what she said is spot on. In the few months I have been on this forum, the advice of all the people here has been invaluable, they generally care for the well being of my, and others, birds and pets and their repertoire of knowledge has been a great asset. In the future I hope you are able to put the welfare of your budgies first, whatever that may entail .

Very interesting . I love the taste of 'fresh' honey, much better than the store bought variety , a friend of my grandparents used to give us tubs of red gum honey from her bee hives (I'm pretty sure it was red gum honey ) How do you get started with bee-keeping i.e. how do you get the bees to start using the hive?
