Awesome news . Dad's canaries haven't raised a clutch this year, both times the mum abandonded the nest after about a week . We have had a few do that too....but the pair that failed a few times, successfully raised one last time and have three new ones today. She has chosen a plantpot near to the ground . Other canaries in the aviary have done well this year...we have some pretty crested canaries A plantpot of all places (Laughing out loud). Crested canaries are pretty, though I've only seen them in "real life" once, however they are on my (very long) 'Pets I Want' list .

Welcome to the forum, I'm very sorry to here of your losses . :hap: little ones. Good luck in finding a new baby and just keep in mind that even though times are sometimes hard, owning budgies can very much be fun and rewadring experience :hap: .
