Hi and welcome to the forum Loreli, Ollie and Zoe :yellowhead: .
  2. Thanks guys :glare: . I have to admit, I wasn't all that confident doing them, I usually draw fantasy/mythological creatures, but a change is a good as a holiday they say :hap: .
  3. Your budgies are gorgeous :glare: .

Way to go Kaz :glare: .
  5. Hi and welcome to the forum suzii, it sounds like you have a great flock, would love to see some pictures :glare: .
  6. When he eventually came out, he hopped up onto my hand and hid his head behind his wing, he new he was in big trouble :hap: (though he looked so cute like that I couldn't be mad at him ) (Laughing out loud), I have no doubt he would have come out looking for food, he is one of my little pigs . :hap: Well, I guess I brought this on myself then . That's a great saying by the way .

What a fantastic set-up! All the best :glare: .
  8. Because the budgie's and Bumbles havn't had as much out of cage time since the cats and the ferret have been going through their 'getting-adjusted-to-a-new-home-and-getting-used-to-the-birds' period, I though I'd make it up to them by drawing some pictures for them. They didn't seem to appreciate the effort very much though :glare: :hap: . Pixie Titch Jinx Kaos
  9. Today, for the first time since we got Dakota, Kiara and Artemis, the budgie's and Bumblebee have been out in my room all day (with my door closed) like they used to. This afternoon as I was sitting on my floor doing some drawing, I did one of my regular head counts....and only counted 8 budgies and 1 cockatiel, I thought I made a mistake and counted again, nope, still 8 budgies and 1 cockatiel. Kaos was missing. I began checking all over my room...nothing, then I started panicing thinking "did someone accidently let a cat in?!" Had a look around the rest of the house but couldn't find Kaos. Went back to my room, scoured the book case, checked behind the fish tank, in boxes, in the cabinet, behind the curtains, in the wardrobe and still no Kaos. I sat down and began to draw again, to try and think of where he could possibly be....when I hear a chirp, from under my bed! I lift up the valance and lo and behold...there was Kaos, eating my writing book. The cheeky little bugger ran over nibbled my nose then took off under the bed again :glare: . He is now back with the other budgies. ...I really think he is aptly named :hap: .
  10. :budgiedance: How cute is that :hap: .
  11. Thanks all . Yeah, Hera loves her veggies, she can go through a whole carrot in about 20 minutes :budgiedance: (and won't let anybody else have any :hap: ).
  12. :hap: That is so cute, I can't say I agree with his reasoning though .
  13. They look great Bea...well for birds anyway, I think I'd be slightly put off I got that for a birthday cake :budgiedance: . Can't wait to see some photos of the cake, I'm sure it will look awesome :hap: .
  14. Sorry for your loss Toffeefluff, :rip: Tigger.
  15. When I first bought Titch home for the first 3 or 4 days she sat fluffed up, often on the bottom of the quarantine cage and had a bit of a poopy bottom, however after that she perked right up ('de-fluffled', was very active and the poopy bottom disappeared) and has been as good as gold ever since, so I put it down to stress of the move and a new environment. That being said, it may or may not be a different case for Fuzzy Butt, so I would follow Kaz's advice and also just keep an eye on her. :fear
  16. :fear Cheeky little buggers .

    Congratulations Kaz :(Laughing out loud):
  18. Wow, he is an amazing budgie, what a little chatterbox! Thanks for sharing :fear .
  19. You have a great flock of budgie's sandman, they are all very pretty, my budgies too are just 'plain' budgies, but I wouldn't have them any other way :fear .
  20. Hi and welcome to BBC. I'm sure you'll find everyone here very friendly and knowledegable. Fuzzy Butt, great name by the way :fear , is adorable and sounds like a real little character! Maesie, as always, has given some excellent advice, I find eucalyptus branches to be the best for my budgies (after a wash down) as they are great for exercising their feet and they can also be entertained by chewing them .
  21. Hi and welcome to the forums Sarah and Piccolo. Piccolo is gorgeous, a very pretty colour :fear . The others have given great advice, so best of luck with taming/training your budgie .
  22. :fear What little cuties.
  23. Just a few pictures taken of the outdoor budgies today. Zeus & Hera Hera Zeus Arwen Estel My Blue Boys Unnamed girl (no luck finding her owners as of yet)
  24. They're both stunning, I love rainbow lorikeets, they have such vibrant colours. It looks like they are both enjoying themselves :fear .
  25. Your budgies are so cute (and so is your cockatiel) :fear
