I just thought i would add a quick update on my new birds. They are all behaving nicely in quarantine and all are looking well. They are far more relaxed now and I am really happy with how they are settling in. when I get the show cage finished and my internet speed gets put back to normal i will post photos of each bird in the show cage :baby: I am really excited about seeing them in the show cage too as its really hard to see a budgie in their full glory out of a show cage.

I don't really know how the breeding condition cycle for hens works, but i have breeding age hens who will stay in condition for years. I have only really noticed condition changes when there are nesting boxes available.

I'd answer if my internet connection wasn't so SLOOOOOOW And i could see the pics grrrrr.... 2 more sleeps till adsl comes back

i have 2 quails in my aviary. they need a roofless nest site and safe zone where they can hide but wont crack open their head if they get a fright and fly straight up. they are little cuties They crow too. It is always best to stick to one pair per aviary
