Hello and welcome! You are in the right place to get all your answers. I hope your allergies don't get in the way of enjoying a lovely pet budgie. I am allergic to the dust from my Cockatiels, but i don't let it stop me having 8 of them. Unlike Cockatiels, budgies are among the least dusty parrots and having just one will help too :happy-dancing: Have a great Christmas :28:
  12. I hope you all have a great Christmas and enjoy spending time with family and friends. Eat, drink and be Merry ( but don't drink and drive). Have a WONDERFUL day :28:

  14. I just thought i would add a quick update on my new birds. They are all behaving nicely in quarantine and all are looking well. They are far more relaxed now and I am really happy with how they are settling in. when I get the show cage finished and my internet speed gets put back to normal i will post photos of each bird in the show cage :baby: I am really excited about seeing them in the show cage too as its really hard to see a budgie in their full glory out of a show cage.
  15. I don't really know how the breeding condition cycle for hens works, but i have breeding age hens who will stay in condition for years. I have only really noticed condition changes when there are nesting boxes available.
