  11. I'm going to hunt for Music for Elevators. I vaguely remember ASH.... but i do remember them sounding good :budgiedance: Thanks Personally I am a Nickelback fan - i wrote my last script to Nickelback - It was all about family issues and conflict so it fitted the mood well. This next one is about neonates and heartache so i want to make it really emotionally moving as possible I love Pete Murray... I completely forgot about him... I like Dido too, but the male voice is my preference
  12. Questions: 1. If I were to have 2 cockatiels and 10 quails, How many budgies could I have in my aviary without overcrowding it? I have 17 nesting boxes. The nesting boxes are all 1 meter apart and all the same height to prevent fighting for the higher box. With an aviary of 4m x 10m .... wow, you could have 150 or so budgies less if you get more cockatiels and if you have that many it would be best to cabinet breed to prevent issues in the flock. 2. I heard a rumour that quails need to be in an avairy for 1 year before they breed. Is that true? I have straw in one part of the avairy and some sand etc... I don't know about quails, I only have 2 and have had them for about 8 weeks. 3. I feed all my birds silverbeet 2 times a week, celery 2 times a week, cuttlebone/fish all the time, and bird seed all the time. Is that a sufficient diet for them to breed? what else should I be feeding them? I would also give them carrot and corn 4. Could I have finches in my avairy aswell? Would the budgies fight with them? My cockatiel and budgies get along fine... NO! Finches are defenseless against the parrots. a budgie could bite a finches leg off in one nip :budgiedance: 5. I want to grow my own millet but im not sure how.. Could I grow millet by just planting millet /bird seeds? You should be able to grow your bird seed. If you can't then the seed is NO GOOD!! Only viable seed is suitable for budgies to eat. Buy some millet from a fodder shop and plant it out in rows and see how you go
  13. Perhaps its something to do with the grey wing gene????? - i don't know :budgiedance: - genetic and me DO NOT mix haha But i will be watching this post to find out
  14. Some of you may know that I write the odd TV and film scripts in my spare time... I got my latest House script back last week with a letter from NBC Universal stating they could not legally open it for assessment because I don't have an agent. better than a rejection though I am on the search for a reliable agent. My hubby is going to try and hook me up with his Anyways I am starting on my next one and I need some new inspirational music to write to. I have just gotten Coldplay's new album!!! it's awesome!!! Anyone know any other bands/artists with that really modern mellow sound that i should add to my i-pod?? :budgiedance:
  15. 4th picture down under the blood poop it is sort of like that and LOTS of it! the site says this inregards to that poop - half is good , half is bad Perhaps it's all to do with the spongy crop??? Would the medication she is on cause irritation to the skin. Google it and look for any side effects

  20. I agree with Dr Nat, Raspberry cordial is magic stuff. It's completely harmless for birds, but if there is any gastro bugs in the gut, it will clear it out The cordial is not the kids stuff. it needs to be the premium type that has at least 20% pure raspberry in it. I use the Cascade brand. Dose = 5ml of cordial to 250ml water - it can be stronger, up to 1:10 cordial to water. - any you don't use on bing, you can drink yourself as it is so YUMMY
